Here are a few pointers coming from someone who has owned a 2004 Ford CV PI and now a 2014 Dodge Charger Pursuit 5.7 rear wheel drive. Crown Vics will last you a very long time. I purchased mine in 2010 with 77k miles and 10 years later, 148k, and no real issues. Was a very good car. Now performance the Dodge Hemi is by far more in horse and torque. Huge differences. Now if you buy a former police vehicle with equipment still attached, learn from someone who is an LEO and dont display that equipment as you are drawing attention to yourself. Even me, it was a curse per se but now owning the Dodge with the rims that give it away, it is not as obvious. You have impersonators out there, straight up wierdos who develop this behavior believing they are law enforcement with real weapons, fake badges or real ones on an ego trip. Go become a real law enforcement officer and see there is more to pulling someone over. Last, people love cop cars, and they are built to last. You treat them right and you will get some serious mileage and use.

The red light is just a different light to do paperwork or see inside without impeding what you can see outside

These are the best looking cop cars out there today but nothing will ever beat the old p71 crown vic and the old 80s and 90s 9c1 caprices. Very sexy cars especially the crown vic in my Opinion one of the best looking and best aging car out there so do the box caprice 9c1s. Neither are very fast but very reliable unlike the chargers and new ford police interceptors

Your lower back hurts because you dont have a police dutty belt filled up with all those tools that push your back and give you the lumbar support you don't have with those seats
