Another lost art item, the traditional old school orange juicer!! VERY cool attraction picking your own orange 🍊 n getting it traditionally squeezed to drink. These are the features of the State Fair that I LOVE, the animals, agriculture, food contest winners, quilts n crafts!! Another lost art item, replaced by too many roller coasters!!! I loved that one of the first things you said on the Tilt-a-Whirl was to NOT close your eyes, it only makes it worse. Fast forward 30 seconds, your eyes are closed. My days of riding that horrible, horrible ride ended many years ago!! :) Nice to see you and Clark having a nice conversation about roller coaster safety!!

Exactly. I have always been super skinny and tiny. All of 96 pounds , give or take some. My last ride on tilt a whirl I was placed in position by attendant with 2 other people and I could barely breathe when the 2 others got pushed into me by inertia. Had to be checked at medical tent, they thought I had broken ribs basically got the wind taken out of me . That was my very last time of riding that ride ..never again.

I think the idea multiple visits to a state fair is a good one. First of all, the fairs are huge, so they are multi-visit friendly. And your state fair videos are among my favorites. In fact, I wrote a short story based on the Carpetbagger's 5 state fairs in five days adventure, if you would ever care to read it. Also, you asked yesterday for feedback regarding a trip following the Mississippi River. I think it's a great idea and hope you find the opportunity to have that adventure. Thanks for everything. Your hard work does not go unappreciated .

State Fairs are awesome ! When I was a kid the Zipper was the ultimate ride I feared. Once I summoned up enough courage I rode it. Trip for sure. Went on second time after I coerced a friend to ride, she threw up, puke flying everywhere,so much fun! 😂

Such a shame you didn’t ride “Magnum”… you said it looked too crazy but i promise you, I’m 30 and I get very dizzy, very easily and there’s something about that ride that makes it so that it’s not dizzying at all. 100% my favorite fair ride I’ve ever ridden and I always ride them all. Ride it next time, you won’t regret it

They used to have a mini rollercoaster at the FT Worth zoo/park called mouse trap. More like Rattle Trap. Even if you didn't have anything loose when you got on, it would be by the end of the ride.

Jacob- this episode was fantastic. You said “pick your favor and watch that video” but in all fairness 8 had to watch all 3 to get each perspective. I love the tilt a whirl- you and Adam weren’t doing so good 🤢😂 and the pig in the petting zoo “you look so sad😟”

Fun fact with the blue butterflies, they aren't really blue, their iridescence cause the light to make them look blue ;) Love the fairs! Come to Victoria BC and see our Bug Zoo!!! We have the Butchart Gardens as well as Whale watching, and great markets and things to do! :) The Butterfly Gardens are here too!

Omg I love you guys!!! I love when you do amusement parks and state fairs! I’m glad you got your camera back!! lol.. The Haunteeeeeed wasn’t so Haunted after all! Well at least this one had a few scares, but one time you went in the haunted at some other fair, and it was nothing in it maybe one scare!

Reminds me of the awesome board game from when I was a kid, Mose Trap, which I STILL have fond fun memories of playing in our family game nights every week in the 1960's n 1970's, which our family STILL plays board games to THIS VERY DAY!!! The state fair episodes are my favorite! Revisit or new. Come back to New York state fair. It's the best! But then you'd have to do another sylvan beach amusement park/laffland video too!
