This week we carry on with our cruise of Desolation sound and sadly I drown my drone. A runaway glitch and it sank in 500 feet of water.
Every week I'll also introduce a beer of the week, sharing some of my favorite, and not so favorite beers.

Foxes Afloat have had 2 drones drown and another land 150 feet up in a tree. It seems to be something they are prone to.

Hi, I just found your channel some week or so ago and it´s just addictivly good. The stunning sceneries in this one, wow, makes me want to take my sailboat (old, but plastic) from Sweden to Canada. Beautiful boats, nice job, thx

Amazing!! Keep on posting your videos. Very inspiring! :-) ...and thanks for the hint of the drone's reaction. I was thinking of buying one and taking some footage while cruising. I'll better stay anchored.

Thank you very much. Don't be overly concerned about drone runaways. This was a common problem with the GoPro Karma and they cheerfully replaced it.

Actually they replaced it and then I promptly sold the replacement. Not to worry though, there will be lot's more drone footage coming, well as soon as I can afford a new one. Heh.

Amazing scenery!! I’m guessing you took off from the boat the boat moved the drone went back to where it took off from I’ve tried to film myself on a canoe take off from land then hopefully it will go back there

Exactly, but it wasn't supposed to. They admitted it was a bug and replaced the drone.

"Random references" are great! I watch your videos to learn (and be entertained). By the way, I stumbled across your channel through a boat search, but what stopped me in my tracks is that you look like you could be related to a (previous) daily-vlogger I used to watch - Curry Caputo. Not only do you two look similar, but you share some of the same interests: woodworking and design. He is a home-energy expert and builder. He even designed and built his off-grid home in Maine.
