tbh konglish is a v diff genre as a whole. its basically how current korea uses english loan words to be part of their vocab in korea

@@demonslayer203 Holy shit dude. Think about a word like "jump." Konglish would say it like "jum-puh," whereas a Japanese person would say "jam-pu." For the word "fit," Konglish would have "fi-tuh" (or I guess "pi-tuh") where Japanese would have "fit-to." As you can see, they're extremely similar, but where Konglish uses "uh" after many terminal consonants, Japanese uses "u" and "o." This is the premise of my comment. Drew was attempting to make himself more comprehensible to a Japanese listener by imitating her pronunciation. However, he used the Korean "uh" half the time. Both of these things were cute. Obviously I am simplifying things here. There is a lot more to loan words than just mapping familiar sounds onto foreign sounds. There's a lot more to everything. The world is complicated and I hate it.
