very overworked and distracted ones. They care a lot, they very much try to be suportive but yes, they do fail all of their daughters anyway, for they simply do not have any mental capability to spare on noticing all the stuff that their daughters activly try to hide (which is extreamly hard, so their daughters never saying something is also at fault there). They allow the abuse of all three daughtes, but also of themselfs . . .

Bruno really does not. There is the joke in a fanfiction, that if/when Bruno had raised her, Mirabel would not have had any sexual education at all and be the most innocent 15 year old in the world . . . (premise was, that Bruno actualy leaves encanto after her failed gifting and taking the girl with him, to protect her from abuela and the mistreatment she went through in canon)
