I really don't understand why people think that the vocals of Panorama team were bad. The girls WERE ACTUALY hitting those notes while performing a difficult choreo. The only questionable moment was strained high note, but come on - it's hard to hit even when sitting down, I think Jungeun did an amazing job anyway. When it was announced that one of the songs this round was Panorama I kind of assumed that it will be horrible, but it was a very positive suprize and I ended up enjoying their performance a lot.

What really p*ssed me off about the interim check is BEFORE that. You see the Panorama unit struggling with the vocals - I watched the original performance of IZ*ONE of this song and its ridiculous, they must have had intense vocal training for that song. And the judges wanted performance level after ONE DAY, give me a MF break, that's asking the girls to break their vocal chords. I know Boys Planet had its ups/downs, but one thing they did do was vocal mentors so they could assign a key for the unit. Wow, what a concept. I know the original I-LAND had a vocal mentor, what happened to that role for I-LAND 2 N/a?? Even if it was behind the scenes and didn't make the production cut, all they needed to do after assigning the roles was have the girls sing the song in front of the vocal mentor to assign the key, so bloody simple. That way, especially for a song like Panorama, they could adjust the key (not AFTER the interim check), if needed, and the unit could then work on all the other things needed for the performance, instead of the self-imposed stress that was then put into the broadcast (and thankfully not put into your reaction, thank you). Sujung knew, okay we need to prepare for the interim check, and still they didn't get there. The headspace is just f*cked from the off if you're thinking "I have 24 hours to be perfect for the interim check". Of course, you'll be nervous and if you're the type that doesn't remember lyrics, you won't remember the words. Muscle memory isn't going to retain after 24 hours. Cramming - that's what it is, but singing/dancing cramming. And then you just want to vomit all the time. I'm sure that's what they feel like. Anyway, this is just about the interim check. Sheesh.

Hats off to Fuko, that girl has her head on right, it's no wonder most, if not all, the trainees respect her and want to be on the same team as her. Beyond Jungeun, she needs to debut in the group as they'll need a leader that the group will respect and follow and she is that person. It's obvious that she has the skills required to be an idol, whoo, look at her! Facial expressions, vocals, performance, dancing, singing, and she pulls her team together with just her voice/presence. Big picture for this group, not just for the next few weeks. It's Fuko, right? Right.

panorama is really super hard to cover. It's supposed to be a pure and soft sound but you can't really sing this way while dancing, so... i honnestly think the vocals were really good, better than I expected actually.

I love how the show is trying to give some of the girls stuck in Ground some hope, but it’s very unlikely any of them will debut, which sucks. Pretty much all the I-Landers (plus Fuko and Jiyoon) seem like the only ones that matter. If I had to make a bet, the final 12 will be: Jungeun, Jeemin, Fuko, Yuju, Jiyoon, Koko, Saebi, Sujung, Juwon, Sarang, Mai, and Yui

The part distribution is wild on this show. I feel like Panorama could have been better if they split the song a bit more evenly. But that would make a mnet show more fair and we can't have that. Anyways Um Jiwon and Fuko carried Bad Boy, how did Kang Jiwon get that part. Whistle was boring, Yuju ate up that one line she got. Panorama was pretty but the vocals weren't it.

Fuko looks kinda like Irene from Red Velvet to me. Something about seeing her guide the other girls with such a graceful but firm hand and seeing her emulate Irene even more in the Bad Boy stage just leaves me begging to see her as the leader in the final debut group, whether officially or unofficially. Jungeun is crazy talented but she seems like she might be too indecisive to be a leader. (Maybe she'll improve?)

honestly with the song choice jiyoon really cleared herself. because fuko would've suited like ooh ahh or bad boy equally. whereas jiyoon could've had easier time with bad boy and yet she gave it to fuko knowing there's a 90% chance she would lose. its stupid to compare ik and i love jungeun bc vocal queen but she wouldn't have done that. and she is as selfish as jiyoon as she should be. this is a fucking survival show ffs but its not as apparent bc she usually gets what she wants without much struggle. so i wish viewers could be more objective instead of judging them too harshly

It was a much harder song yet they still pulled it off with so much charisma (and the dance break ate), whereas I didn’t get as excited during Whistle. I already liked Saebi after the intro performances, but this definitely solidified her in my top picks. Fuko definitely carried Bad Boy, but Um Jiwon surprised me with how charismatic she is as a dancer and how stable her vocals were. Hope she doesn’t get eliminated too early so we can see more from her.

Jungeun even said "girl no I can NOT be the main vocal for Panorama" she was BEGGING to not have to do it but the entire team was scared of that high note Overall I actually thought they did well considering that the song is still high even with the key being dropped for them, I especially think that this song better showed Mai's vocal tone and potential than Drama (Drama was too deep for her most of the time, she does better with a medium-high pitch). They all managed their breathing control very well. I noticed some of the girls in this team and the other two we've seen seemed to be a bit hoarse, especially compared to their first stages and Final Love Song stages, which makes me wonder if A) some of them are sick with colds of some sort or B) they all simply overworked themselves practicing and are just tired, honestly it could even be both. I understand why Panorama was chosen, as it definitely poses a challenge, but I think the people who organized the song choices should've chosen something a little different that would've been better suited for this specific contestant pool. I'm not saying give something easier necessarily, it could honestly still even be iz*one, but there's something about Panorama that I just think isn't the best material for a competition (which isn't an insult as I LOVE Panorama, I wish I could better explain what I'm trying to say I'm sorry). I never see anyone doing iz*one's Violeta, and when looking at this round, I think THAT would've done really well, it fits the generally bright and youthful feminine concept, it showcases dance and vocal, but is also a lower key has a bit of a charisma to it that this round's song choices all have (Violeta would've ROCKED a dance break by that choreographer) that I don't think Panorama really has. Bad Boy, Whistle, and even Like Ooh-Ahh have a coolness that Panorama doesn't really have, Panorama is warmer- again, I don't know if that makes sense, but the song just stands out in the round and it was really only Saebi, Soul, Mai, and Koko that suited the song, I can't really see too many other contestants on the rest of the show suiting it. I talk a lot, sorry. I just get so many opinions about the choices these survival shows make.
