There accurate to AEG, so I'll give them props for that. Now I hate the reboot, but the toys seem accurate and I'm fine with them. Tho they look massive compared to ordinary trackmaster, there cabs look huge. The sizing of the engines will be.... interesting.

Trackmaster 2 looks like a 500 ton cube of gold compared to the new shit, which means Classic Trackmaster and Tomy is basically just Atlantis

Ok, I know this reboot is probably going to flop, but look on the bright side. That Troublesome Truck actually looks quite awesome 😎. Perhaps that piece of rolling stock will become the unexpectedly popular character in this upcoming revival. You might find a gem hiding in the pile of muck. That, or they might retool the rather boring Carly into the much more beloved Cranky (no sexism was intended, even though it would be nice to see them together)

I must say right away that I am an absolute fan of feature films and CGI seasons. But, I will try to be objective and unbiased. Toys are very good - why? Quality and similarity to on-screen characters. Never before have the toys of this franchise been an exact copy of their on-screen images, especially considering that the prototypes are two-dimensional. For the first time, children will get their hands on what they see on the screen. And this is a huge plus for Mattel's karma. Since I am an artist by profession, I also think like an artist: the toys are very good and correspond to the new originals. And now my opinion, as an ordinary person who fell in love with the universe of Thomas. I DO NOT LIKE THE NEW CHARACTER DESIGN. This is not the world, the wrong characters, the wrong faces. I won't buy them. Perhaps for the collection. But my heart is devoted to CGI characters. It's a shame that Mattel never released his toys that closely resemble them. This makes me very sad...(((
