And lost several Games in the last Minutes or even the Extra-Time or it was a Draw. So we are in Danger to relegate to the second german Ligue. So it was sooooo important for us, to win this. That way you wouldn't have to worry about parking or drinking. Most German cities have good, reliable local rail although the long distance national rail network isn't as reliable these days.

OK, it's 2nd Bundesliga but against Cologne or Schalke or Hamburg or Berlin the 49.000 is sold out. And also against Karlsruhe. A very important derby, full of "love".

First division game but in terms of external circumstances (home club, away club, stadium, atmosphere, mood, etc.) it is more similar to the third or many fourth divisions. The first three leagues in GER are professional leagues, while the fourth league in GER is divided into regional sectors. Bochum is a nice club in the Ruhr area with neighbors like MSV Duisburg, RW Essen (all similar to Bochum) and of course Schalke and Dortmund. but the fan culture a 5/10. (sorry bochum, aber im revier geht halt anderswo mehr, dennoch seid ihr mir die liebsten im pott, sogar mit abstand). It is of course increased by the stadiums with a capacity of 50k+. It is also questionable that Herbert Grönemeyer (german singer and actor) does not demand any royalties (his 80s hit "Bochum" is something like the stadium anthem, but was also a chart success at the time)
