There's a particular aesthetic that I like to think of as "that bit in a horror game before it reveals it's a horror game" that I'm finding myself drawn to more and more. It's like an uneasy calm, tension through mundanity. This fits right into that.

Mmm yes, I hear you. It's like an ordinary plain scene, but what makes it horror is that out-of-palace entity being present. Just that. Just one difference away.

It's just the feeling of an abandoned but clean and a open place. I literally live in one of this sceneries, my room just looks too empty but clean at the same time, what else would I need to clean if there's nothing to worry about besides the dust. The cold and lifeless, correctness aesthetic of a place adds to the whole feeling. Like a highly corporate office at night: it's lifeless, cold and uneasy. A warmy bed is all I need to recreate this places.

This is exactly the kind of music that makes me appreciate the fact that I exist in an era where music like this is accessable to me in a tiny box that fits in my pocket, instead of having to go to the store and purchase CD'S, or cassette tapes, or vinyl records or any other form of physical media, just to listen to music this good. And then before radio towers were invented, the only place to listen to music would be at live performances 🗿🗿💀💀

@@robertgreen6027 The only dream I've ever had repeat, was that my mom put me in a basket ( I was very young the first time I had it ) and sailed me across the river like Moses. I then had try and get back on land and for some reason the only way was to go through a door into this building. I opened the door and fell into a huge shower/bath that had no way up. Eventually my cousin came and rescued me lol. Never new what to make of it, but I've had it several times over the years.

I had a dream…. A strange one I will say now. I was inside my house. But it wasn’t my house. It was someone else’s. The house was all white and almost as an abyss. But I continued to act like everything was normal. The house only had one room, a kitchen and a small table in the corner. My sister, brother, father, and mother were all there. But their backs were turned away from me. I guess… I felt left out… then suddenly they turned their necks. And asked “What’s wrong?” Everything started feeling dizzy. The voices overlapped and that’s when the dream, turned into a nightmare.

I made lots of friends, unfortunately I won’t see them again.. ever. The one reason I’m writing this comment, is for you to cherish what you have, and do not be unhappy that whatever you have is gone. Just be happy you were able to make memories, and enjoy them.

When you feel sorrow, look above the sky. There are stars, laughing at us. We're nothing. Our Sorrowness and Emptyness is nothing. It's meaningless. Nobody can help us. But it's ok. Those Struggles and Suffers we face are nothing too. They are meaningless as well. Nobody can help us. But thankfully, we can help ourselves, by giving a meaning on our lives. It's gigantic, but it's actually nothing. You can pull through, so don't give up just yet.

this feels so elusively reflective of how i feel with the most honest and vulnerable parts of myself. i am not sure how to discern the thoughts if that is what it is or if it is just a feeling. its been persistent my whole life this emptiness but i dont perceive this emptiness as something frightening but rather maybe foreboding? it feels so heavy with the mist that carries the decay. does the fear sprout from living without truly knowing who i am or mourning over who i thought i was?

This brings to mind the dreams I used to have every spring, the only liminal space within would probably be the first part of them which would start off in broad daylight outside of an abandoned building that looks like the surrounding ecosystem is taking it back and once inside the building there wasn't anything remotely debris like as you're walking through it and the only thought is 'I need to get to the art classroom' and there by a shelving unit that has broken pottery and such strewn about it is another door that you can't really see through but sunlight is coming in through the window on the door. Once that opens you're met with this lake that's reflecting the night sky that has some floating structures on it that look like they're floating in space because of how vivid the sky is and you appear alone, you are alone but you don't feel alone and you know that you can't go into the lake. The building and the path through the building was different every time but the art class and the lake was always the same. If I still had this dream it would be around this next month that I would have it. The last time I had it there were people at the lake with me and I saw a kid slip of one of the floating docks that take you out to the floating buildings and I dived in to get the kid out of the lake. And the dream didn't end with the usual peace that it had but with a stern talking to from one of the people who just looked disappointed that I did the one thing I wasn't supposed to do. I miss those dreams.

Was listening to “preserved and valuable occasion” and began thinking about old memories with my grandma who passed away, namely memories made at an old roller skating rink she and I used to go to all the Time, and began tearing up. And then “creation at the end of everything” started playing, accompanied by the photo of a roller skating rink which looks almost identical to the very same one we used to go to. I’m both spooked and intensely comforted.

Describing what I feel for each song. (i saw a comment that did this and i decided to try for myself.) 0:00 - i feel nothing but i feel something at the same time. Its like my heart is both empty but has some sort of emotion that is barely there. 3:47 - This one is sadness and nostalgia to me. Sadness because the good memories are gone and have faded into the past, and nostalgia because it reminds me of those memories and of ones i've never had. It's like a mix of the emotions you feel when something is born and then dies. 8:39 - Reminds me of Claire De Lune. I feel some sort of emotion i can't quite explain, but it's like when you watch the rain fall with soft music in the background, and you come to fully appreciate how beautiful rain is. I also feel a hint of nostalgia, and it feels like i'm walking through a dream. 12:16 - It's like when you take the time to think about all the things you haven't seen and all the emotions you haven't felt. This song is kind of the definition of mystery and awe, but also a sense of distorted memories if that makes sense (like a dream basically). 15:32 - This is sadness and a sense of a blissful but emotional and slightly traumatizing childhood. It’s like a peaceful yet depressing melody, it’s very emotional to me. This song feels like the warm embrace of a caring mother, but it also reminds me of death after a fulfilling life. 18:43 - Definitely feels like life, growth, creation, and death. It reminds me of looking at your past self, but also looking at the stars. This song sounds like sadness but peaceful happiness at the same time. 24:21 - This also sounds like a dream/ a distorted memory. A lot of nostalgia and sadness. It also reminds me of someone's last waltz before their death. 27:23 - Same as 12:16

I know this could sound really crazy. But this is the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the first soundtrack of this video (a peaceful omen - from 00:00 to 03:47), with that background image that is taken from inside of a house that shows us a vintage type walls, a window-like doorway to the tree and the front yard of the house. It's a bit nostalgic, but this is how I feel it : I feel like I have been there before. I used to live there. A part of my mind tells me that this could be the home that I used to live in my past life. I was a boy who grew up in this house. I had a mother, father, sister, grandparents, and other relatives. I used to play in that garden with the children of our neighbors. We lived happily. But it didn't last long. Something happened to me, which caused me to lose my life. I think it is a disease that I carried with me from my birth. They tried so desperately to save me but to no avail. It makes me sad 😔. I'm having this deja-vu-like feeling when I see that image with hearing that music. I know this sounds really really crazy. Some of you might think that I'm out of my mind or I'm talking nonsense. Whatever that is, this is the way I feel it.

Will it suffice to say I LOVE this channel? Or should I write poetries and proses on how your music peers into my soul, talks to me, holds my hand and takes me to the glass palaces inside my memories , freezing with time, and the warmth of your music, unravels them, to me, like my life singing back life to me, all over again? The themes you choose, the pieces you select, feels like, I just needed this so bad, just din't know it. And when I read the comments in the comments section, I so wish someday we could meet, on a re union, or something, have coffee, chit chat, and go back home with the feeling of "I too have a home, I too have my people" Maybe this is what is soul tribe. Maybe we will never meet, maybe we will cross our paths, and won't know we like the same music, talked over this channel, at length, maybe we have the same dreams and fears and still feel lonely. Wish..so many wishes..wish the list finds some fruition someday, for each one of us. Love and peace.

For my brothers from Brazil who have the luck to find this, here's a portuguese review: Essa playlist é uma experiência que lhe trará lembranças do The Caretaker (Everywhere At The End Of Time).

I dont know why but this connects my melancholy to someone's past pain and suffering that he was going through silently and caused him to weather away.

Reminds me of lil peep “give it up for you” It’s been completely removed from yt. But the lyrics are “white pills. Empty hotels. Good girl. Don’t tell. I feel. Like I been here. Before” Seeing this reminded me of that song. Just to find it’s deleted completely from yt. Gotta find it on SoundCloud

The first image hits me like a truck. It was sort of the exact place of my graduation, from the outside to the interior design (altrough it was a little bigger). But it's empty, nobody is inside nor outside. High school was something else.

Jack Torrance : "I fell in love with it right away. When I came up here from my interview, it was as though I had been here before. I mean, we all have moments of déjà vu, but this was ridiculous. It was almost as though I knew what was going to be around every corner."

listening to this while doing my maths homework was one of the most pleasantly surreal moments i've experienced. very relaxing(which is much needed for maths because i tend to get anxious while doing it), and i got it done rather fast, so thanks!

When I was younger I had dreams where I would always be in the same area as in the dream before: I would walk on a staircase, the floor was light brown and the walls were white but a bit dirty. I would walk up or down the stairs but at some point, the stairs in my dream just stoppen, there was like a void beneath them. I would turn around and walk up (or down) again because I didn't want to fall into the void. But after I walked a while, the stairs in this direction would also end. I walked the other way again, but for a shorter time, then again there was a void. I don't know anymore for how long this lasted in my dreams back then but I remember that sometimes there would be a corridor at the side opening up. When I walked through it I was in a small kind of shopping mall, with 2 floors, from the second floor you could look down onto the first floor. The floor was again in the light brownish color and the walls were a dirty white. There sometimes would be people, but they were like robots, completely ignoring the existence of me or everyone else. When they walked into the distance they vanished and new people would walk beside me and the vanish in the distance. Then I would wake up and realize it was all a dream, but now, when I think back to it (I had those dream like 10 years ago), I felt like they were real, like those people there were real and it was a giant meetup of people who somehow all got trapped in the same dream of staircases and a creepy mall, and whenever you woke up, you would just vanish out of this mall. I hope you could understand what I wrote, I'm sorry if there's any mistakes, I'm not a native English speaker and still learning
