Great reaction! The guitar player sitting to Elvis’s left is his original band member, Scotty Moore. Elvis, Scotty, and Bill Black( bass player who unfortunately passed away three years earlier) made Elvis’s first professional recording, That’s All Right on July 5,1954. The gentleman playing the drums on the guitar case is Elvis’s original drummer, DJ Fontana. Elvis combined Rhythm and blues, country, gospel, and pop and turned songs into rock and roll. Elvis did not write songs but he changed them-changed their tempo, some words, their arrangements, Elvis was his own producer and a self taught musical genius. Bridge Over Troubled Water live in Las Vegas 1970 is a must see.
