I live in Albuquerque and have for over 20 years. My teenage daughters have almost been abducted walking home and my mom was harassed and nearly assaulted at a bus stop. A man who saw what was happening just in time helped my mother. I stopped running outdoors in my 20’s because it just wasn’t safe for me.😞

As a single father with 2 little girls, this hit me a bit. Nobody should have to fear for their life walking down the street. So many criminals who are just plain evil and need to be put down, not let out.

When I was 13, living in a "normal" suburb of Houston, a man was attempting to change his flat tire at the end of our street. My uncle was on his way to our house for dinner, noticed the man with the bum tire along the way, got to us, briefly poked his head into the door, and said, "there's a guy up the road with a bum tire, (while he grabbed some tools from the garage), I'm gonna walk back down and help him out." Within a couple minutes, my uncle came Sprinting down our street yelling at us to "call 911!!! He's dead." We were all so confused. A flat tire?? Someone is dead?? I just called 911 without much to offer, as it happened about 5+ houses down from our house. I gave My own address, and said that someone is dead. After explaining what I knew, I was asked "Who did your uncle shoot?" That led to More confusion. The young man (I believe he was 19, of I remember correctly), was knelt down, attempting to remove the bad tire (when my uncle saw him, and said "let me go tell my family I need some tools, and I'll come back and help you." As soon as my uncle was approaching the man/vehicle - with a jack and 4-way - another driver slowed to a stop (causing my uncle to assume they were attempting to help), when a backseat passenger casually stepped out of the SUV, and shot the guy in the back of the head. Execution-style, before re-entering the SUV as it sped away. My uncle had to show up for multiple depositions, pick the shooter out of a line-up, as well as having to testify against the suspect/defendant/murderer in open court. He lost several days of work, and was not upset about lost wages. He legit Wanted to Show Up to help bring justice to the family of the shot kid. In all honesty, he has Never been "the same/himself" ever since. He Still (25ish years later) wishes he had initially stopped before coming to our house. Life can be just as ugly as it can be beautiful. What was odd to me, was that the victim was black and my uncle is white. The news reports made a Huge deal out of the fact that "a white man risked his life attempting to render aid to a black man"...No one was standing behind that style of reporting. My uncle was disgusted by it. He was a human, attempting to help a human. The races of the victim and the regular citizen was NOT an important part of any of it. I learned A LOT that day.

Thank God he is ok. We need tough justice to return NOW!

Woooow ♥️ May this guy recover from this trauma. Hope that POS gets arrested!!! I understand that “feeling like a prey.” I had two young girls around my age trying to rob me once in a parking lot. I wouldn’t give them money. I scream for help and no one helped me. I took my heels off and ran around in the parking lot and they kept chasing me. I finally made it to my car and they tried to open it, cussed at me, kicked my door in and I drove off. I felt so disrespected and scared, like I was a rabbit to them.. my stomach hurt so badly from fear as I drove home.

Thank God the victim kept running, Its harder to hit a moving target. I'm so grateful that he's alive to tell his story. I pray that the shooter is captured and brought to justice.

Concepcion Guilez, 19 is the suspect. was involved in a road rage shooting in March that left a 13-year-old girl dead and an 11-year-old and her mother injured.

I drove into a local Vons recently and a young Hispanic man ran up to my car, waiving at me to roll down my window. I initially thought he was flagging me down for some benign reason but as soon as I rolled my window down,, he said, "Do you remember me?" I said no and he instantly realized I was the wrong person. He clearly had a beef with someone and had the gall to call me out. I don't know what his intentions were but I'm glad he quickly realized I was the wrong person. People are insane.

I know my situation is nothing compared to this, but my girlfriend and I were walking one afternoon a few blocks from my neighborhood when a car drove by and threw a large rock at my head. Fortunately, I had on a rain jacket with a hood (as it had sprinkled earlier), and my friend had no idea I’d been hit until I screamed. The car sped off. If I’d not had on the hood, I would have been severely injured. The car was only about 5 ft away from me. There are evil people out there.

I lived in Albuquerque for 21 yrs. This mentality is exactly why I got my family and I out of there.

"How do I survive" fire at the suspect and retreat, being a deer in the headlights unarmed and afraid with zero capability to defend yourself against those who want to hurt you is exactly why you should own a firearm. You can't afford to leave your children fatherless.

Thank God he made it alive and hope him the best on raising his son. I have a son myself and raising him mostly on my own. My mother died a little over a yr. ago; so thankful you have your mother to help you! God bless you and pray for you and your family's safety!

Dude in pickup truck shoots at an unsuspecting pedestrian, gets out of truck, chases and shoots again at the person, all caught on a camera in broad daylight, yet the person isn't found. I wonder why.

I walk around albuquerque all the time so this story is especially scary to me since something similar happened to me, a few years back a car coming about a block behind me started shooting and I ran into a dark field (it was nighttime) and the car pulled up and a guy got out of the car and walked into the field looking for me but thankfully I knew about a hidden hole in the fence on the other side of the field and was able to get away. People are crazy out here

I feel sorry for him. Lot's of us are suffering from PTSD but that's scary that the shooter got out of his truck in broad day light.

I left town soon after witnessing a young girl killed and her sister injured by one of the nutcases in a pickup. worst night ever. Beautiful scenery, full of crazies.

You dont have to go overseas to war to develop PTSD, this shit will give you all the PTSD you can handle. Even bad car accidents, or multiple minor car accidents can cause ptsd. Everyone needs to look out for one another, even if youre a neighbor, ask your neighbors how theyre doin and if everything is ok in their lives. Who knows, you may just say someone from going down a truly dark path.

Happened to a friend of mine in Los Angeles. He was wearing a watch and I guess they wanted it. They hit him with the car, sent him flying, he picked himself up drew his firearm and fired off a few shots. He was able to run away, still has nerve damage in his arm

Murder was the obvious plan, and judging by the weapon used, any others nearby would have also been shot. This one calls for a US Marshals warrant and no bond after that. When a citizen is not able to walk down a sidewalk in the middle of the day without fear of death, it is more than a safety issue. It is a Constitutional issue. A right to live issue.

It is so scary to think that there are mad man like this out in the street. You could randomly and unknowingly meet this guy in a store without knowing the guy is insane and will shoot anyone randomly.
