My parents owned nothing but Chrysler products when I was growing up. Remember the time the Aries K left us stranded on a state route highway in Arizona in August? That was a special memory. The lesson that was seared into my brain from all those lovely Chrysler products was this: never buy a Chrysler. Hell, don't accept one as a gift. They're terrible vehicles with terrible repair histories and they absolutely WILL leave you stranded in the middle of the Arizona desert in the middle of August. Thankfully, my Mom now owns a Honda.

Motorcycle, terrible triads. Dislocated, broken olecranon, and crushed radial head. I now have a shiny new metal head of my radius. Getting back range of motion was the most infuriating part. If I could do it all again I'd do a lot differently. Luckily I was on my parents health insurance still, so all in all cost around 10k out of pocket

Well you're gonna have to wait for the bumper to bumper warranty to expire so 3 years minimum . I say minimum because it's also got a powertrain warranty which are typically 5 years minimum.

Its a great truck! I've had one for 9 days. I owned a 2005 TJ Rubicon Unlimited. A beat up 2000 TJ before that and they always lacked storage space but great otherwise. This has the ability to roll no doors, no roof, cargo space, and down a trail. Also comes with a manual transmission. I'm happy I bought one. It's as good as I though it would be.

@Ben Dodd that’s ok, to each his own, I think they are bad ass. I’ve seen several lifted with 40” tires and custom accessories. Mine has a 2” leveling kit 35” tires and a rough country front bumper with winch and light bar. It attracts a small crowd everywhere I go.

I once drove a jeep Cherokee sport in the early 90s, nice simple straight six vehicle with some nice torque and low weight, fun!

I just put a 2.5" spacer lift, some 295/70/17 (just bigger than a 33" tire) and some spacers on my JL. If you want to do the lift yourself, I could come down and assist (I'm about 3 hours away). For all that stuff I was at $1300, and now it looks just right. Seems like a good deal for such a huge change in appearance.

Mine is a 1999 and has 175,800.1 miles don't use oil never had any engine work done family since new. Gas Mileage gets 20 MPG city/24 Highway on 93 octane and runs like a champ. Properly maintained they will due you right .

The straight six small Cherokee was a real workin' class dog. Tough as nails but rides like a buckboard. The new jeeps are just too shiny and expensive to ever see dirt. Too bad.

Hi Tyler! So Jeep gave you tools and all to remove the top and doors. That's good. Did they give you the mirrors too? Can't drive it without side mirrors.

I hope you don't have any troubles towing your work trailer or personal trailer, TFL did a towing test and it did horribly. It doesn't have a trailer brake controller and the trailer they used was pushing them down the hill while the brakes smoked.

Tyler, love the videos! I have to correct you though. I am a commercial industrial master electrician and I abused an 09 ram with the "rambox" (very first year mind you) bed for 5 years in Buffalo NY, and eastern Washington. After carrying chains, bar oil, a chainsaw, an axe and a shorty shovel in one side for over 3 years. I wiped them out and they where literally perfect again! Living in WNY I know road salt, and vehicle cancer well. There was no rust on that bed at all! I've never seen one of those with rust infact. Theres a tonneau cover that locks and holds 500 lbs, and the new ones are on the remote locks too! Those "hips" I called em where literally so handy and well built they never once leaked, and I was NEVER nice to them!
