Hoo ok honestly take it from me who was super trash with a .6 k/d when I started playing at the end of season 4 going into 5 then proceeded to learn better positioning and places I didn’t know I could climb by watching pros. But the game changer was making it a must to learn to play with a max yaw speed on alc controls. Also paddles on ur controller is a must. Almost everyone that is good on that damn game has paddles on their controller. It was kinda tricky learning to make it a habit to use the paddles but once u rely on them u will never go back to a regular controller. Also if ur playing on a 60 inch tv that’s not going to help u get better. Play with a smaller tv less than 30 inches I would say if not buy a monitor with a high refresh rate. Trust me it’s way better to play on a monitor or smaller tv. Just make sure it has a good refresh rate or game mode so ur visuals won’t get blurry while moving quickly. I’m just saying, I wanted to be good at apex just like everyone else and honestly u need the high speed and paddles. It will give u all the advantage while jumping around and sliding everywhere. Also the crouching up and down while shooting will be a lot easier with paddles

I see all the pros or content players always giving everyone the little tips but never the gear they actually need. The gear like tv/monitor and controller always makes a huge difference. I have an elite controller for my Xbox and a regular DualShock controller on PS4 with the back button attachment for paddles. It’s good and a cheap alternative to expensive controllers
