I kind of like the future jumping aspect because as predictable as it is its interesting to see how as things get better in the past it continues to get worse in the future. It was just saving Hiina at first but then Kisaki is wiping out everyone and now its Mikey wiping out everyone so the corruption of Toman isnt tied to a single incident but theres someone (probably Kisaki) who needs to be removed from the equation entirely for everything to actually work out.

It would be better I think kind of like you say stay in this timeline but instead of going back just stay until that day arrives. Just living this timeline and fix everything that you can cuz there's no real point in going back ahead and time other than to find out that something else bad happened I mean most of us are old enough to remember the butterfly effect movie and that was messed up honestly that was a really messed-up movie and that's pretty much what's going on here. Hopefully it'll have a good ending but if you ever seen the butterfly effect you know it does not.
