Warrior got a fun new card in the latest mini-set called Part Scrapper, which lets you play a Mech with a 5-mana discount, meaning Botface might finally be a playable card... or maybe not...

how is that a nine mana card. i know that there has to be decent amount of bad cards in the pool but this is way too high mana cost. even at 8 mana it won’t see any play

@@ancient7716 Rush would be awesome bc it lets you actually do the thing the card is supposed to do: give you random minis. 9 times out of 10, if you play a botface it gets removed before it can generate any minis.

in that full board vs 2 zilly state, best play was certainly to garrosh > brawl right? incredibly unlikely to lose the brawl and your death rattles would kill whatevers left anyways. also in that game, triggering first boom wrench by playing mini wrench and swinging for 2x activations was always lethal

I’m a bit confused what Replicator-Inator is doing here given that it can copy a grand total of two things (fireworkers and other minis) across all three parts. I guess that might be enough of a justification on its own, but it still feels odd.

The cost has nothing really to do with it. It's that you can't win when you hand is already empty enough to make use of it (because it means you die if you haven't got it at that point), and there are just too many decks out there that will have unending answers to anything you play. So the only cards that actually work are cards that do something major even against 80% of removal. This most of the times is "give 0-2 random minis"

I dunno if its a valid strat to equip the 1/1 weapon without swinging the final hit from the 3/2 weapon then getting 2 deathrattle procs in one turn but seems spicy

hearthstone cant afford a 9 mana reasonably statted minion unless it dors something immediately. Botface needs rush or elusive, something along those lines or a less convoluted way to cheat it out

If they just lowered its health by 2. Cost by 1, and slapped elusive on it. It would actually be playable without being broken

I play the more bomb focused version, idk if it's very competitive but cheating big bots and triggering their deathrattles multiple times is pretty fun

I threw Botface in a big warrior that I payed in Wild when I was disgusted with the standard meta. The minis were nice, but your hand filled too quickly with them and caused you to overdraw something that you would rather be playing other than 1/1s. I don't think this card will ever become a meta player for that reason.
