thank you for playing lol, i'm the one kid that scripted the game and videos like this really inspire me to keep working on the game im happy you thought that the chaotic balancing made the game fun because balancing a game like this is a pain in the ass lol i've thought about matchmaking a lot but the one thing that stops me from doing it is the appeal of just being able to hop into a game quickly, but i'll think about a good solution when it comes to comp and pro servers i am extremely grateful for all the composers we have for the game because we would be no where close to where we are today without them thanks for playing!!

i think my favorite thing about phighting is just how it’s filled to the brim with character. From the dialogue between phighters to just the fluidity of the user interfaces, everything feels alive and has its own identity, in my opinion it really pulls you into the world of the game, which is something not many roblox games that i see do.

Phun phact: At 4:18 he mentions how 3 characters are based on roblox gears, However if you do some research, Every single class seems to be based on a roblox gear.

I recommended this game to so many people and most of them loved it. The one problem they had was that the skill ceiling was so high for the fun characters they liked to play. They also just said that teammates were also a reason why they didn’t play way more than they actually did. Also they just said some characters just weren’t worth playing as some characters (katana, biograft for example) were just easier to play and more rewarding than some characters like skateboard. EDIT: for that last part i meant that some of them said its not worth taking the time to learn. For example it might take a katana player a few weeks to learn the character and get a lot of kills with it. But on the other hand a character like skateboard can take months to actually learn and get the same results as a katana because of how hard it is to do a lot of damage. Not saying the game is bad or anything just that it has some balancing issues. Sorry if I confused some people, I originally wrote the comment at night.

Really nice video!! Pretty much agree with everything :] Though, I'd like to correct some things said in the video just to clear up some confusion 1. Sword, Slingshot and Rocket aren't the only classes who are based on gears; every character is! (Ex: Subspace is based on The Subspace Tripmine, and Shuriken is based on The Silver Ninja Star) 2. Bux aren't purchasable. You can only obtain them by playing the game. The only way to support the developers is by purchasing Brokercoins, which are just donations!! (and the UGC of course!!) 3. Scythe uses She/Her

I think what set Phighting different from most front page roblox games is that it’s made with passion. Sure it’s not perfect but just by playing you can tell the people who made the game (not just the main devs but also contributors) put in a lot of effort and love into the game. It makes the game more enjoyable and fun.

Nice video!! But I do have some comments: 1. That intro was pretty peak. I love your points on it! It’s a very a good opening to this video :] 2. Scythe is actually referred to as a she (no biggie lol) 3. Not only are Sword, Slingshot, and Rocket based on old Roblox weapons, pretty much all the Phighters (and all the other characters in the game) are based on some kind of classic roblox weapon/item. Almost all (if not all) the maps are also inspired by old roblox culture and history! 4. I’d say the balance is still actually quite good. In fact, they’re actively putting out balance patches to characters. However, your point on absolute Rock Paper Scissors in a team based class game doesn’t hold well entirely imo. Ofc it’s part of the essence of the type of game. However, you shouldn’t have to switch off the character you like to play just cause you’re getting counterpicked hard, as if it’s your only option left. However, I believe Phighting deals with this issue well. If you get good enough at a certain Phighter, you’ll be able to deal with their counterpicks well enough! (tho idk fully since I don’t play all the classes) 5. YES THE MUSIC LOL, nice mention hehe >:] 6. I love how they added and contextualized Dom and Valks voices in those certain soundtracks, literally genius haha ;D 7. Yes, I agree. People should absolutely play this game moree lol 8. Here are some extra things I love about Phighting that are worth mentioning. One is that, joining a match is mega fast. It’s not like Overwatch or TF2 where you have to wait a long time to find a server, and the server might not even be full. I’ve been able to quickly join matches that are always fully filled. 8. Man, you should’ve added the new crossroads map teaser into this video. That teaser actively made me think “how is this fudging Roblox????”. If you don’t know about it, look it up hehe. You should follow their updates too, absolutely!! That’s all, really nice watch my guy ^^

Im seriously scared that the game gets bought by gamefam or something like that and becomes a game where everything is a lootbox and even playing as characters is locked behind levels or money

1:49 there's only 3 Phighting devs, Aidn doin the programming and Pix doin the animation, then Soda joined for character designs and modeling, everyone else are usually contributors like Crablooshi and Eggo makin music or Xtriel and Danccie helping in makin maps the devs already stated they aren't plannin on extending like the ownership and stuff iirc in a QnA

Phighting would have a few more players rn but we have been dry on updates. That’s a good thing though bc the devs have been COOKING (event from the 13th to the 21st along with a plushie and even bigger updates after that)

This game means so much to me, this video is really well put together and i'm glad more people are seeing how crazily underrated this game is. one thing that I noticed is that you only said a few specific phighters are based on roblox gears, when actually every single major character in the game is assigned a gear that they have from roblox itself, like as a canonical thing in lore that is required for each character is a gear.

Playing biograft is fun it’s like a horror movie scene where you slowly flick forward in a hallway before decimating them in a heatwave

I’ve played this game for months non-stop and probably have hundreds of hours on it, and it STILL never gets old. The chaos, the little dialogue features, and the satisfaction of finally hitting some of the hardest abilities to hit in the game. I love it! The devs deserve way more credibility, fame and so much more. And thank you for making a video also sharing your love for the game. (I’m not a dev I just love this game too much LOL)

I havent played phighting yet as its not the type of game i would usually play, but i heard about it through the regretevator collab (another absolutely amazing game) and have been pretty interested in it, it seems like a really cool game!

im actually sk glad phighting is getting the recognization it needs on god this game is just purely heaven,whether its the gameplay,maps,characters,or even lore and way other things.

I found this game from a collab that they did with another amazing game called “Regretevator”, I found it in April but then just quit.. then got back on it on may 11th [almost 2 months ago] and got a flipping hyper fixation or something on it. THIS GAME IS ONE OF THE MOST G O D L Y GAMES IVE SEEN AND ITS.. man, i just finded about phighting, while trying to find a good game, i thinked this was a simple underrated game but THIS GAME AS A ENTIRE FREAKING FAMDOM AND CUMONITY

You should also try project remix its kinda like phighting but you instead make your own loadout and it is very customizable

Phighting is easily one of, if not the best games on roblox. they playstyle may not appeal to some people but personally, the mix of the god tier music, chaotic but skilled gameplay and diverse maps to play on make it one of the most fun i have ever had on roblox.

im so sad that it lost player counts but its still a good game either way :)

I actually just played it today and it actually seems rlly fun but it's sorta difficult to get used to but I find the game rlly nice for its smooth gameplay and I love the styles of the characters.

Phighting truly is the idea of passion over profit. Instead of being a sell out, they actually had passion. Are they popular, no. But do they have a dedicated fan base? Yes.

I LOVE PHIGHTING!! I recommend this game whenever possible. It’s absolutely amazing it’s so much fun. The composers are so talented, the models are really good, the rigging and animations are amazing, and it’s coded to just be?? So? AMAZINGLY FUN. I have nothing but praise for this game.

One of the games this man NEEDS to play is Block Tales (if he hasn’t already.) It’s a paper Mario 64 and earthbound based game, with good animation to boot, and I have felt so many good things about it!! if you see this play block tales asap

I am glad you talked about the OST because not enough reviewers truly appreciate it, because GOD THIS OST IS ONE OF, IF THE BEST ON THE PLATFORM. There are many games with good soundtracks but not on the scale and overall quality of Phighting’s. It truly pains me to see how quality is often overlooked on Roblox. We have seen a bit of redemption on Roblox’s part with great games like Hellmet and G&B being nominated for awards but at the same time Sol’s was as well so it isn’t much.

Subspace is also a gear… also skateboard…. Before you bash me that skateboard is too big of a thing to say its a gear, sword and rocket are the same thing.

Phighting is one of, if not our biggest fixations in years up there next to Undertale. We cannot POSSIBLY get bored of the game especially due to its insane lore, fire updates, fire soundtrack and everything else that was put into this game. 4:21 also Subspace is based on the subspace tripmine, a Gear that is literally a bomb that turns invisible and instakills you if you touch it I sound like a nerd but its the most troll gear in the entire game Edit : forgot to mention Hyperlaser being based on the hyperlaser gun that literally instakills you

5:24 this is why people don’t like overwatch 2 in its current state. it’s not fun when you play a hero like wrecking ball to have some fun when the enemies swap to hard counters like sombra. the balancing also sucks some characters in phighting just feel like you have to put in so much work for less reward than you would get for playing a different character. it also doesn’t really feel like much of a team game whenever i play it feels more like a hack and slash until one side won.

Sometimes when I play phighting I sit on the start screen (before you press play) and just listen to the music

thank GOD phighting has been getting more recognition. ive been playing it for a year or so and the playerbase has been so small ive seen the same random people in lobbies MULTIPLE times. its really a great game, please check it out 🙏
