I'm glad you open the Japanese packs as well. Hopefully, others do too since the guaranteed holo is nice and better quality so nicer returns on graded cards. Also that Ursarang is really cool

tbf the ETB sleeves have historically been kinda garbage for actual playing with. I suppose they may have wanted to address that but I for one am kinda sharing Leonhart's disappointment because I liked to use them just for the cards in my binders, and I don't want to do that with matte sleeves. (I *did* play the game for a time but I quit, so sleeves that are optimized for actual playing just don't really matter to me.)

I just got 9 jungle packs for 1000. all sold as "light" and they were right. every pack weighed 20.4 and under. The first 3 i opened i pulled a vaporeon holo, kangaskhan holo, and Mr Mime holo. stoked.

I went to a mall 20 minutes away to see if I could preorder the first partner packs and it turns out they are not available for pre-order so I was bummed about that :( But then I went home and watched the Post Malone virtual concert and my mood improved significantly!

@@Mikeevanko967 the first partner packs are booster packs that include jumbo card versions of all the starter Pokémon from each region and they are going to be released once a month leading up to October (which is speculated to be near the release date of the actual 25th anniversary Pokémon TCG set).

oh the eevee sleeves are matte, that means moisture makes them less sticky and it's easier to use competitively, that's actually really cool! it's actually an upgrade on pokemone company's part. shiny sleeves might look better but they're less practical competitively.

It's so weird.... Getting back into pokemon cards after probably 15 years. Getting nostalgia remembering opening these packs way back then when I was so young. Would save up allowance and buy a few packs at a time. I have so many base 2, gym leader and rocket cards in a binder, going to pick them up from my parents soon
