How many miles on the bus? Just curious ... Lucas stop leak products seem to work well for small leaks from my experience. Since you are lucky enough to have a carborator I'd suggest installing a vacuum gauge to help improve your gas mileage. As you'rer riding along (cruzin) lighten the pedal pressure until the bus starts to slow. That's the sweet spot. A vacuum gauge is a great diagnostic tool also. Carry an extra ignition module for the distributor it's cheap insurance believe me. They crap out every once in a while . Nice "old school" project you have there. I hope it didn't cost to much scratch. I'm working on a 90 g30 camper with a 5.7 and a 400 turbo that has single rear tires. Wish it had an overdrive but oh well.

I truly appreciate your knowledge. I'm in Terlingua, Texas, and the desert ruins everything here. I still need to replace my power steering pump as it works with the brake system. Mileage, when I purchased it, was stuck on 157000 and title states exempt. 🐓
