So I finally said yes to my 1st bridal gown in almost a year. I know how many of y’all been requesting gown tutorials so here goes..
PART 1 of what it really takes to create a Bespoke Gown.

See I’ll have to drape it on a form first then pattern it 😩

Not necessarily, it can be drafted flat as well

@@designismedaily yeah I know. I just never been good at drafting patterns from scratch with measurements alone. That’s my biggest problem. But if I drape it first, I can easily make my patterns then do all the corrections from the flat if that makes sense

It makes perfect sense. I can create a video on pattern making if you’d like, any suggestions as to a few pieces you’d like me to draft using measurements only?
