💜💜💜 Eagerly awaiting rest of Pistol Daisy series.... 😁 Thank you for your updates! I'm a writer and enjoy your insights and vulnerability and groundedness... and diversity of topics! Super inspiring to see you write different genres. So far I've first drafted a book 1 and am halfway through a first draft of book 2. I can't fathom writing something totally different until this story is told. But we'll see as I evolve as a writer if that's my pattern going forward or not. 🤩

Maybe how you outline was a factor in your new speed? I just changed how I outline all my books and I've been writing faster than I ever have in my life, also the book is definitely the easiest I've ever written in my life. I feel some parallels with what's happening in your world. Go us!

Zillow has definitely been my friend when trying to find what a house, a ranch, a condo looks like that fits my characters... Google Maps and Google Earth has also been my friend when I am writing in a location I am unfamiliar with.

I’m currently writing a story and my mother told me that I won’t ever get my story done because I keep switching it up and I get new ideas from the internet. I’ve tried explaining how authors do drafts and she doesn’t seem to get what I’m saying

Totally! Though it sounds like she was very interested in a certain plot line! Might want to ask her how she thinks the book should go and then store it for a future book plot line for a different book! :)
