Today I'm upgrading one of my favourite BIONICLE creatures Spinax from the 2007 set Maxilos and Spinax! I even added some custom lighting to this revamp!

I honestly would NOT mind if Bionicle Gen 3 focused on a more adult audience like a lot of Lego sets and themes are doing these days, and prioritized Bionicle characters as huge, complex, hyper detailed rebuilds of classic sets and characters. Shut up and take my money.

As a noob when it comes to lego... the term illegal building move strikes me as SUPER stupid. sorry, but if it fits it sits... the end result speaks for itself. The fact that builders thinking outside the box and using pieces creatively is considered somehow "beneath" others who cannot see outside the limits of the instructions is simply ridiculous.

I didnt even know people were still into bionicle stuff, let alone made really cool custom ones like this! im not even super into lego stuff, but this popped into my recommended and decided to give it a watch. This is the most overly complicated, finanically irrisponsible and lore accurate Bionicle moc ive ever seen. Amazing. Would love to see something like the Kardas Dragon build with this level of detail.

This is so good! The wires, the clever parts usage, the sculpting to get the wolf proportions to be so strong and ferocious! You made Spinox the selling point of a two part Bionicle set from 2007! Top notch! The only way you could top it is... ...A certain Robot with Vezon's mask for shoulders

Just this already has a ton of lore. The fact you used other spinaxes' parts for the legs really inspires a behemoth built using others of its own kind only for fighting.

Great video, editing, humor and most important, great build! What I like the most is that it hasn't any empty or see-through spots like the original bionicles. I think that's very hard to do, to fill all those tiny gaps with yet functional and good looking pieces. It makes it seem like it really has a body

Yessss, I loved dabbling with Spinax's design too, never anything to quite that degree, and still using legal build techniques (not a complaints, I have no issues with em lmao). This is easily one of the coolest renditions of the beastie I've ever seen. God I miss having my bionicle stuff, RIP to wherever it ended up over the years :(

You're the Bionicle MOC role model!! Most people just show the complete build for "inspiration" and don't teach how they did it, or the basic techniques for bionicle. Please keep up the good work! Also, because you're such a skilled buinicle builder: you don't need to, but it would be cool to see bionicle pieces be used for a more organic character (that doesn't look like a machine). I wanted to do a Cragger constraction, and use forest green bionicle pieces to give a cool scaley effect, but it always looks robotic. It would be cool to see bionicle pieces be used for more organic beings, and I think you would do a good job with that!

Ok the Rahkshi armor on the legs is a brilliant connection! I usually justput a three long pin on there and cover it up with a visorak foot... My jaw literally dropped. Mindblowing. Very cool and interesting to see these techniques
