Que hay compadres! Soy Mexicano, he ido a varios partidos de River, Boca y Racing. Sinceramente ninguna hinchada se sentia tanto como la de River, era increible. Tambien cabe aclarar que la cancha de Racing no estaba llena, y en la de Boca habia parlantes replicando canciones de cancha. Eso no lo habia visto antes. Saludos!

@@alfrednite6398 Asisti dos veces a la Bombonera, en una me decepciono eso que comente, en otra comenzó a llover y se filtraba agua por todos lados, dando la sensacion de que se podia incluso derrumbar el lugar. No se si será a proposito o no, pero parecia descuidada. La de River Plate la conoci en 2015 en el partido vs Tigres y me gusto mucho más. Volvi éste año y realmente es alucinante. Me hace acordar al Estadio Azteca

I lived in Argentina for many years and from the moment I arrived I fell in love with this institution, because of its level, its principles and its moral values. Según el informe oficial aprobado durante la reunión, actualmente el Millonario cuenta con 335.945 miembros activos, una cantidad que lo coloca como la segunda institución del mundo con mayor cantidad de asociados. Esta cifra se logró gracias a la suma de 71.897 nuevos carnets entre mayo y julio, de los cuales 41.030 corresponden a la comunidad Somos River y otros 30.867 son nuevos socios.Comparativamente a nivel internacional, la institución presidida por Jorge Brito se encuentra en una excelente posición, solo superado por el Real Madrid, que cuenta con alrededor de 360 mil vínculos activos, y unos 30 mil más que el Bayern Múnich. A nivel nacional, lidera la tabla de asociados por arriba de Boca Juniors, que cuenta con 315.879 socios según el informe de AFA de comienzo de año en donde también se indica que lo siguen Independiente (95.173), Racing (83.717) y San Lorenzo (80.410).

Como digo, hasta que no haya cifras oficiales hay que esperar. Lo que tenemos es lo que comunicó River y es un numero que lo pone casi seguro entre los 3 primeros.

The first time I heard about River Plate was in 2019 when they played their Rival Boca Juniors in the Copa Libertadores Final. It was the Final time the Competition would have a Home & Away Leg. Pity Martinez at the time was rumored to come to Atlanta to replace Almirón. So I watched it to see Pity. Never saw such passion.

También Enrique Omar Sívori surgió de la cantera de River Plate. Luego fué estrella de la Juventus y Balón de Oro en 1961. Como bién dijiste Alfredo Distéfano, uno de los 5 mejores jugadores de la historia y Balón de Oro en 1957 y 1959. Daniel Passarella, Mario Kempes, Leopoldo Luque, Ubaldo Fillol, Neri Pumpido, Amadeo Carrizo, Oscar Ruggeri, Hector Enrique, Alejandro Sabella, Norberto Alonso, Pablo Aimar, Roberto Ayala, Ariel Ortega, Ramón Díaz, Javier Saviola, Marcelo Salas, Radamel Falcao, Alexis Sánchez y últimamente Julián Álvarez, Enzo Fernández y Gonzalo Montiel ( que ejecutó el último penal frente a Francia para consagrar a Argentina campeón mundial en Qatar 2022) Todos ellos fueron jugadores de River entre tantos otros). River Plate es mucho mas que el club de Fútbol mas importante de América. Alli se practican muchos deportes. La gran tenista argentina Gabriela Sabattini comenzó a jugar desde niña en el club. También tiene un instituto de enseñanza Secundaria y Universitaria Por todo eso es una de las instituciones mas grandes de todo el continente americano Saludos

Otros datos: Hay una maravillosa historia detrás de la relación que nació entre el Torino de Italia y nuestro club a raíz de la tragedia que enlutó en su momento al club italiano. I would also add a couple trivia things about River Plate: -The real name of El Monumental is "Antonio Vespucio Liberti" -For international titles River had also won a couple Sudamericanas, Recopas, and the Intercontinental cup (a cup that existed before the World Clubs Cup that faced the winners of Libertadores and Champions League) -At the Libertadores of 2018, River beats their eternal rival Boca Juniors, in a legendary final match played at the Santiago Bernabéu (Real Madrid 's Stadium), that's the most important cup that River won (this also gives context for the "you died in Madrid" song)

For those who never been there... Let me tell you... Its a unique experience... You wont let be down... I have been in Santiago Bernabeu, camp nou, azteca stadium, etc but nothing like a River Plate game in the monumental!!!

Great video! One little note: in 1923 the club moved to an older stadium in La Recoleta neighborhood, and in 1937 the Monumental was founded in Núñez (both upper class neighborhoods, something that has always been associated with the club). That and the fact that it was the first club to buy players, and doing it at never before seen prices earned the nickname "Los millonarios" (the millonaires).
