Күн бұрын2nd episode to my solo trip in Germany, via the Vaccinated Travel Lane from Singapore.
The Germany adventure begins, as I leave Munich and head south into the Bavarian Alps. I managed to drive solo in a foreign country for the first time, which was pretty damn nerve wrecking but I'm so glad I did it.
I based myself in the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and paraglided over the ever so FAMOUS Neuschwanstein Castle, also known as The Disney Castle, with autumn foliage in full bloom and it was as perfect as it could be.

Lastly, the summer toboggan at Tegelberg was a total BLAST. Definitely check it out when you're in the area!

Man.. I wish I was there - the view was so awesome (esp your paragliding experience). I don't know why but I got so emotional during the part where you paraglide - its so so beautiful. Wow this is breathtakingly beautiful 🤩🤩....especially with the Neuschwanstein Castle. Since it's so high up on a mountain it is hard to get a good impression on the outside castle when just visiting.

There’s a famous lookout point near the castle but it’s closed for maintenance 😂

I always make sure to go to Neuschwanstein castle whenever I go to Germany. Its beauty is amazing, never gets old... Also the history behind it is interesting...

Totally jealous of your solo trip! The food looks amazing, the view is spectacular and the activity seems so fun! Hopefully when we are able to resume our normal travelling, Germany would definitely be on my bucket list!

As a fellow Singaporean doing early research into European countries of interest to spend my honeymoon (and delayed graduation trip) in, thank you for these excellent vlogs, love your camera work and insights :) I discovered you through your Finland videos, and I thought "Eh he sounds Singaporean/Malaysian"... *checks profile*... omg he is!! It adds a greater sense of relatability haha, especially when you give your opinions on certain things (e.g. which activities are too expensive and not worth going, or what might appeal to a stressed-out city dweller like the average Singaporean), appreciate the relatable perspective. I'll be sure to watch your other videos with time. Thank you for the quality content!! Btw, if you don't mind sharing, how much did you spend on this Germany trip?

Glad to showcase a more relatable aspect of travel to fellow Singaporeans :) I spent about $5k on this trip. Solo travel in europe can be pretty expensive hah

Do you need a special camera like drone for those wide range or is there a lookout point? 2. Would you recommend going into the castle or just admire the structure from afar? Thank you very much. Hello Shawn, loved your videos. Really inspired me to get my ass ready for my next trip. 2 quick questions tho. 1. What do you use to film during the slide-like thing? The non-pov shot of yourself sliding down. 2. Do you think is feasible to travel around the bavarian alps and black forest region without a car?

:) 👌🏻 I used the gopro max 360 camera for that. It’s possible to travel to those areas without a car, but it’s not very time efficient as some of the routes take way longer on public transport
