A bucket list flight over icebergs, a frozen ocean, polar bears, and visiting a small settlement in the North Atlantic. This was easily the most exhilarating and beautiful flight I've ever flown. See our journey, hear ATC calls and cockpit radio, watch how we fly a small single-engine Cirrus SR22T across the North Atlantic to Greenland's East Coast. As high as the Arctic Circle.
As private pilots, we thrive on pushing boundaries and exploring new horizons, and this adventure was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we lift off, fly through the clouds, to the awe-inspiring landscapes that unfold beneath us, this KZfaq video captures every thrilling moment of our aviation odyssey. We'll delve into the intricacies of piloting the Cirrus SR22T, highlighting its cutting-edge avionics, advanced safety features, and unmatched performance. So buckle up and prepare for an adrenaline-pumping experience as we showcase the sheer beauty of Greenland from the unique perspective of private aviation. Whether you're a fellow aviator, an adventure enthusiast, or simply curious about the world of flying, this video was probably my most epic flight ever, a must-watch.

Hi Stef, just wanted to say how outstanding your videos are. I would like to say I have watched every one of your videos 10 times over. You probably don’t remember, I was lucky enough to bump into you on the Qantas mystery flight to Launceston and you were so nice to have a quick chat. Keep up the work really incredible!

Hi Stef, for the past couple of weeks I've been having doubts in completing my CPL due to the extensive amount of weather cancellations up here in Melbourne. @@StefanDrury LOL very true, you can’t go South either. No Polar Bears in Antarctica. There were plenty of penguins and killer whales when we were there a few months after the Artic trip. My mad wife’s idea, she wanted to be BI Polar. That is swimming in the Arctic and Antarctic Oceans. Lunacy I say.

There are parts of the world that are vast and brutal. As long as the plane works it might look like a computer game but there is a harsh reality outside. If you have to ditch in the atlantic, you either have a suit or you are dead. There is no maybe :) Inland greenland probably isn't much different. Most of Canada might as well be a different planet. And they speak french :) It's fascinating but real. It's no guarantee but two small jets might be nice redundancy instead of the single engine.
