I agree. The food in Japan is really really good and affordable. Also hotels are affordable. I would definitely go back to see more places. Public transportation is awesome, just have to figure it out.

Hi Ben, I'm the vlog watcher you encountered at Mt. Fuji. One of the highlights of my long trip was getting to talk to you for a few minutes. I'll reiterate what I told you there, I've stopped watching most poker vlogs (at least regularly), and you're the only one I've watched long-term and consistently since vlog#1. Keep up the good work, and I hope to catch you at the Peppermill in the near future.

I used to live in L.A. for 16 years, and I heard that Randy Newman song a lot. Given how tough the Hustler casino is, I thought at first the Randy Newman reference would be to the song he wrote for Three Dog Night, "Mama Told Me (Not To Come)"

@@johnsowell4369 I've always felt that Randy Newman, Lyle Lovett, and David Byrne provide the lyrics that are most useful on day-to-day life commentary. And, of course, Monty Python.

Hey Ben! Music Trivia Master here. Sorry ro hear about your loss at the Hustler, after being up by so much. I had played at the Hustler several times before, and that place is especially tough. Had one of my worst bad beats therre. One time, I had Pocket Rockets, and the flop had an ace in it, and I still managed to lose because the other two cards were a four and a five. And what did my opponent have? You guessed it...THE SKINNY!!

Ka-Pow!!! The ole’ walk-in triple up…how freakin’ sweet is that? Anyhoo, the outcome does suck, but if you look at the bright side, you got to gamble for hours with a tiny loss. Just saying. That trip to Japan looked like sensory overload, but I sure wouldn’t mind grazing on all that food.

I have to say it... You play tight and when you're piling chips in with QQ and getting called you didn't think even for a 2nd that you were beat...I don't know about you but I feel almost the same way about Jacks in huge pots as I do Queens...I have a saying and so do many other serious poker players.. Never go broke or lose a huge pot on a 1, pair hand and if I'm gonna it better be at least Aces or Kings...I know I'm saying this to a very tight player that I'm sure has been called a Nit many of times and i think you even wear it as a badge of honor... Well you didn't stick to being a Nit there and you paid the price... Just because California is known for action doesn't mean they wanna just give there chips away especially if they know anything about you and by watching you play they knew you were tight... You prob folded 20 hands plus in a row b4 that 1... Just saying think about it.. People give action to action players but they know who the tight players are at the table at those stakes...
@guillermoalvarez9400
@guillermoalvarez9400 4 ай бұрын
Thats just an unfortunate spot not many people getting away from, at these levels people like slow playing big hands too. The BB could be shoving with a wide range, and the SB could easily have JJ or 1010 that decided to go with his hand. Action players can never fold any pocket pair no matter how tight they think someone is
@brendaklinger3339
@brendaklinger3339 4 ай бұрын
I respectfully disagree... There's a difference between when action players limp or call when everyone else calls and are constantly in there with a wide variety of hands but even at the 1-2 and 1-3 level these same loose passive or loose aggressive players do pay attention... I've seen so many poker vloggers say this guy was playing or calling with any to cards or 3 betting light all day... That doesn't mean that they are never gonna have it... When you start piling chips in it gets even most action players attention... They might wanna mix it up but they don't wanna just give it away.. There is a threshold for these guys at most tables .. They will call $15 raises at a 1-2 to 1-3 table all day long but you put in a $50 3 bet or $150 to $200 4 bet and they fold quicker than an OMC when an Ace hits the flop and they don't have it...

I liked just when you told me to and it worked! Too bad there's no way to make it work twice in the same video--Queens vs Kings vs Kings was the hand where liking the video should've worked. 🙃 Also that technique of getting to Tokyo by thinking really hard--would that help me instantly get to Vegas from the Big Apple? 😁

GARY from NM here remember.... just a note to let you know I have been playing here quite often since 2023 and you nowhere hold the record for having 8-2,10-3, or 7-4 they change dealers every 30 minutes and in one session I did not win or drag any chips for eight hours that's 16 different dealers and I had those three hands more times than I could have counted in that time and I mean hand over hand I did not have a face card or ace of any for over an hour and a half twice during this session I wish I would have counted just those three hands because that would be the RECORD!!!..........I GOT UP BROKE.....FUMING
