I think you should do this again, but with the expansion at the start and with random natural disasters turned on so that sometimes disasters happen, but its not you interfering. I also think that maybe separating it into four quadrants with rivers as the borders would help, to stop something like the dworvs bad placement from happening lol.

I bet the dwarves left behind some kind of technologically advanced labyrinths though. Lots of brass, steam, and automatons.

The orcs are just naturally OP in this game. Sure, they're dumb, but they fight like 40k orks.

Orc actually is the strongest race because they have more health and attack than the other races and some other abilities like regeneration and making weapons out of the bones of they're enemy (literally) the second op race is the elf which sometimes (really rarely) they can match the power of the orcs because they live longer than any other race (so they will have more kids and population) and at some point they're army will be using like 100 bowmans (idk why but they like bows so much) and they are actually the only race that's peaceful with bad animals (such as wolfs and bears, dragon and the other crazy anomaly like aliens is not included) but orcs is still the most op and they have about 90% win rate from my experience of playing this game (I've only seen elf win against orc four times and i did a lot of 4 race fighting each other) Edit: and human is just a normal race without any special ability and same with the dwarf but the dwarf is weaker than the human because they have less stat so they always lose literally

The world ended up looking like a tide pod to me and that honestly made it even better lol

You should do something like this where you have 3 weaker continents customized for all of the races, and one big land mass full of orc tribes constantly making war with one another. Perhaps using some kind of mod that lets you turn off rebellions by race. Basically just to see if the orcs could unify themselves enough to protect their land or if one of the other three races will be able to clench it while they're fighting... On second that rebellion doesn't need to be off for the others since their main landmass is too small for cultural drift. Might be an interesting secondary challenge for them to keep control of their colonies in the center landmass.

The fact DF didnt end the video by nuking the map disappointed me immensely :(

I think the orks gets the upper hand this scenario despite lower tech because orks in game has an default ability to be good at salvaging enemy tech. I have played and tested all the faction in this game and it seems orks are very good fighters and they are good at stealing too not to mention thier strength and endurance.

Here's one I'd like to see: Whole map is water. One single tile of land in the centre. 500 or so of each race spawned in the water. King of the Hill battle to see who gets to live.

if you start with a similar map and dump all your starting creatures in the center lake they spread out and start lots of villages all over - like how the dwarf wandered far before starting ultimate survival battle

You should really play doomdepths it's a free game where you get to kill idiots (monsters) and get lots of loot and enchantments it takes a second to figure out because there is no tutorial but its fairly simple but I really feel like you would enjoy it

Spoilers below for the vid: Absolutely loved this, one of my fav Worldbox videos I've seen. The elves and the dwarves both dying early due to obvious mistakes, the quantity vs. quality battle, the orcs seemingly using realistic military strategy around 14:53, the human's failing being that they weren't united, DF's prediction being wrong which made the ending a surprise. It all came out so amazing, congrats to everyone who worked on this video because it's a banger.
