I'd like to think that the HeadHunter is basically Kraven the Hunter from Spiderman but for modded mc. Just like us players, he likes hunting down strong opponents.

Head hunter trivia. Doom debuffs are actually buffs, so debuff-eliminating items like Farmer's Delight's Cocoa are useless. Attacking his slashes with a sword will restore a little HP. His gun attacks are absolutely unavoidable. (Even if there is a wall in between.) He has a damage cap of up to 11, but it does not work for damage over 500. Doom debuff should be able to kill Avaritia armor players. Headhunters do higher damage against players and the Doom debuff only works on players. (Probably to balance in mob fights).

Some of those are false (last I knew), reading the books from the advancements: gun must be blocked. you can literally be facing in any direction, you just need to be blocking. I was actually using cocoa when I fought him using wardance in 1.19.2, unless something was changed in these later versions with the updated model. Headhunters do hp percentage damage to players, stronger on higher levels which pierces shenanigans (read: absurd damage protections), unsure about vs mobs. Fair sure he can't apply doom to them either. He's just got a lot of anti-cheese in mind.

i think a really good server is Origin Realms, it is completely vanilla yet has bosses, new weapons abilities, and a story. I think more people should know about this server. the marauder boss is amazing and seems like minecraft would add it themselves. better than 90% of mods I know

One of the best boss fights ever honestly. I do see now tho that the shield is an absolute most to avoid the gunshots, which feels a bit limiting for what choice of items you want to use in your offhand. Not to mention ignoring gold hearts is a bit sketch considering golden apples are vanilla and most modded op gear im aware of focuses on increased red hearts more, already covered by the percent damage tho. I also noticed that he doesnt flash red when players attack him during his call for doomsday, which looks like a custom thing to break it and why it never gets broken in mob battles

False. He's for skilled players also, cause you actually have to try cause he has a number of anti-cheese mechanics that can almost seem unfair at a glance. He's got info books and everything in the advancements window. You just gotta know how he works and what to expect. He's honestly one of the best produced bosses I know and he's created in mcreator of all things.

Hey I know I'm late and you use mods a lot BUT there is a really good texture pack and the name is Faithless, it's in all versions and in Fabric and Forge so I recommend checking it out!

Idea: ask avid mc if you can fight some of the bosses on his server. They are made with only command blocks. Cooper the copper demon is to copper as ignis is to ignitium. Ridonkulously hard. Parkour + blazes = death 💀.

Uh oh. Someone didn't do their research with the books from the advancements...? Also feels ripped off, cause the music he comes with is great and creative commoned, so its fine to have in game. His attacks cause hp percentage damage at higher levels making absurd protections not overly useful. Bullets MUST be blocked. They pierce tbe whole world. sword should be dodged cause it breaks shield. Magical looking moves should just get avoided. Like the hand and purifier beam. SWORDBEAMS in second phase can be parried by attacking them to stop them causing damage before being hit. Final doomsday move is when you crit the crap out of him to not die. He has stacking resistance against projectiles and other indirect attacks making high damage attacks when playing range more desireable rather than multihittin things like shotguns and spells. I fought him directly with War dance and my usual compliment of combat mods on my channel if anyone is mildy curious. (Sorry for the self advertize, but you're welcome to see too karat. ;))
