I love the aesthetic for all of the enemies in this, with all the aquatic endermen it feels like the leviathan is an underwater ender dragon. I also love the coralossus and their diving helmets.

I love this update. This mod has really well done bosses, also, think the animation for the Tidal Claws left click attack is really similar to the Tendon Whip animation from Alex's Mobs 1.19

Well maybe after alex's caves is completed and both Alex's caves and Alex's mobs are updated to 1.20 or even 1.21 we can get the next ice and fire update. There is still a lot of concept art for new creatures and bosses. There was a planned update to 1.19 if I remember correctly but it may have been pushed back to work on caves.

I'm wondering how much easier the fight could be with the use of conduits. 1 giant one would work well but would be too easily broken by the leviathans attacks.

Dude. I didn't get the Leviathan deathless with a maxed Weapon Master weapon, full Unbreakable Pyromancer and a Skill Tree filled beyond the default maximum, including major buffs to health, regen and armor. And you're trying to fight it with UNENCHANTED IRON??? You're a madman and a half!

If you’re playing with a modpack you just downloaded and didn’t make yourself, HIGHLY likely they boosted its health and damage to make it more challenging since it sounds like you have magic mods. They’d make this fight way too easy otherwise. I was playing a modpack that had done that. The baby leviathan also had its stats buffed though too, so better reward for a harder challenge

@@JimJamTalks I actually simply put some semi-random mods together. That said, I found out the Leviathan has a couple "% of max health" attacks, which is one big reason why I struggled (I focused health over armor in my skill tree build). Also, I since fully watched the video, and it turns out Karat always starts with unenchanted iron and upgrades from there. And with iron, he did take an L pretty quickly.

leviathan has as much health as my "simple" mutant zombie in my current modpack... mind you, that means his health is gonna stonks really hard cause of majrusz difficulty and scaling health... yeah, I'm probably gonna need some affix shenanigans and some casual aquatic based trinkets to deal with this boi. mind you, I haven't felt how it's like to deal with any of the others yet with war dance first. much less considering fighting this thing and using all those resources for the summoner.
