Please do more of these thrift clothing videos. It helps viewers see what we can do with our clothing budgets and how to look for quality pieces. I suggest pulling up designer looks and trying to recreate them in thrifted pieces. What about styling your mom or friends with different body types? I LOVED this video so so much. It felt very relatable 😍. Plus shopping these store helps local economies, helps the charity they support, and keeps wonderful clothing out of landfills. I could see this being a monthly content piece for you. ♥️

When I was in 8th grade my neighbor was in her late 40's and she was so classy and I was absolutely enthralled by her!!! She was the epitome of sophistication and pure class!!! She taught me to always have the basic colors of navy, black, white, cream and brown in pants, blazer, sweaters, shoes and skirts or suits. She worked in the big city and we lived over an hour away in the country. I looked up to her so much! I learned about fashion and trendy items and how to get the best for your money. She let me borrow anything I wanted to wear! Spending money on them solid sturdy classic pieces will be worth it in the end!!! She never used the term "capsule wardrobe" but that's what it was!!!! OMG!! You scored girl! I've been to a lot of resale/thrift stores; this one was UNBELIEVABLE! The quality of the clothes--AND--the cheap, cheap prices were almost too good to be true. By the way, your spirit and laughter along with the treasures you kept finding were soooo infectious; this is my favorite show of yours EVER!!! Please do the resale visits MONTHLY!!

All I can say is wow Dominique, yes we definitely need a part two. I am an avid thrift shopper. Some of my finds range from cashmere sweaters to 1960’s era vintage coats. My favorite find is an original navy pea coat with the sailors name in it and his date of birth which was 1942, from a thrift store in Greenwich New York over twenty years ago.

I started thrifting approximately 8 years ago. I have found amazing deals with quality clothing. 95% of my clothing is thrifted . It is both fun and a smart financial choice. I rarely buy anything that isn’t thrifted! This is one of the best fashion videos you have done in my opinion. Thank you.

I love that that sweet woman handed off her find to you when it didn't work for her! I have always thrifted and visited consignment stores since I was a barely middle-class kid who went to a very exclusive private school. Even now, I still do it. Once, I found a Chanel top for $10! Now, my daughter loves thrifting, for the thrill of it and for environmental reasons. My husband is baffled (although he gets the environmental part)! lol

I introduced my granddaughters 14 and 22 to Thrift stores a few years ago. At first, they were not the least interested in going. But once I got them there - they were hooked!!! I also volunteer with a small group that provides prom dresses to girls that can not afford them. We shop the thrift stores for our inventory- we find such a wide range of sizes for the girls to select from. It's so rewarding for your own soul but it's beyond emotional to see the girls look in the mirror and see just how beautiful they are. And keeping in mind these gorgeous gowns came from a thrift store!!

My son's college roommate is from Houston and was with us here in Omaha over holiday break for a few days. His dad owns thrift stores in Texas and now Arizona. It was so interesting to hear about some of the great things his dad has collected over the years. He said leather and denim are huge sellers.

If you don’t thrift you are missing out. I have done it for 25 years and I won’t stop…always find something amazing. My 20 year old twin daughters are thrifters now too. Creates a lifetime of savings that you can put towards other things in your budget. Great episode.

Love this so much! I barely shop retail anymore.When I go thrifting somehow I come across the best stuff for the best prices. I've thought many times about doing videos like this and showing people what they can get and do with previously owned clothes, save money AND the planet! I am so glad you did this video, so FUN! What a great shopping spree! Quick story, I was getting married and couldn't find a dress that I liked, I had gone to my local Reshop and I found a new with tags ($780.00) dress for $60.00!!! it was gorgeous! The oversized fuchsia coat looks 'cool' just like that. Personally, I'd only alter the sleeves. Also I love your hair curly but (as someone with equally curly and processed hair) it needs more moisture. I use the nice cheap and cheerful 'Aussie Moist' conditioner in the shower, rinse it out and then put a pea sized back in half way down the shaft only. Then use a 'bit' of any mousse and either diffuse, or let dry naturally. The curls will look softer and more defined. And finally, LOVE the up cycling! Great example for us all! TY!

YES, please do a part 2!!! Better yet, make a regular feature! This was so fun!!! Everything you put on was amazing! Honestly, I never used to shop thrift but the last few years, I have become obsessed. How could I not have been doing this for years? (We are the same age). Shame on me!! I have found some of most outstanding pieces; some new with tags, some second hand and some vintage…quality you just can’t find anymore. It’s become the best treasure hunt. I think in the past year, I’ve only purchased maybe half a dozen brand new items retail. Crazy, right? I’m never going full retail again. Likewise, I have cleaned out my closet and donated to a couple of local thrift shops that give so much back to the community. It’s a win win. Plus, it’s a great feeling to purge giving me more space and I don’t feel guilty if I pick up something while in there. I’ve also been able to thrift for my home as well. Amazing vintage items, dishware, etc. Please consider doing a video on home items as well. The money I’ve saved vs the money I’ve spent the last couple of years is ridiculous. Your haul today is proof of that. Well done!!!

I have been watching you for a while and always thoroughly enjoyed your poise, and your messages of support for all women. But I had to comment on this because I had such joy watching you on this video. It was great to see how much fun you had doing this. My sister and I also, go thrift shopping from time to time, and the greatest part of the experience is the fun in the find! I’ve been a thrifty and consignment shopper for years! I have a friend that used to look down on it, until I’d clean out my closet and she would get great stuff she had complimented me on, and when I told her it was from a thrift store… she was convinced and converted 😁 I LOVE a great find!

Hi Dominique! Thank you so much for posting this! I started reselling thrifted clothing online last year just before my daughter was born. There are so many beautiful pieces that can be found at thrift stores if you just take the time to look. I love hunting for designer brands and you never know what treasures you might find 💕💕💕💕

Loved this video. I think what made it so easy is the way this store was laid out. The store was merchandised really well. How fun, thank you Dominique my favorite was the olive green outfit. I love olive green and it’s a staple in my wardrobe. I have two jackets in olive green because it’s such a versatile color. ❤ Can’t wait for part two…😊

I love ❤️ finding unique things in thrift shops. I recently found a beautiful vase that I saw in a antique store and it was just only $10. I couldn’t believe it. ❤love your cute curly hair. ❤️❤️❤️ps I couldn’t believe all the wonderful and beautiful things that fit you perfect. I love this thrifting!! Can you please do more thrifting like this. It's so inspiring and the styling is really top notch. Sometimes with budget items we find one off pieces that looks odd but seeing them mixed and matched like this is giving us all freat ideas on whar to look for when shopping budget items.
