@@govinda9925 as far as audio quality goes it’s amazing. The separation and balance is on point. However, if you’re used to the booming artificial bass made by in-ear earphones then these are not for you. These are pure audiophile headphones and the bass you get is pure and rich. Do try them in croma outlet before buying. I got it from there only. With card discounts I got it for 17.5k which was far better deal than Xm5.

Plus I got it in the first week of month (croma and other electronic outlets introduce new offers on month start and give special discounts to first 5-10 customers) other than that I use HDFC credit card which got me instant 1800 cash back. But if you’re planning to get them now, wait for some time, save some more money and directly go for XM5. Xm4s are nice but xm5 is on some other level. Plus they have 8 mics instead of 6 on xm4. So better noise cancellation as well. And it’s design is also new. Xm4 looks same as xm3

I think If he's telling that it has 8 microphones you can check out the mic test on KZfaq to know the exact microphone quality and personally I think they are good for work as they are comfortable light weight and for a student too

I've been using Sony's XB700. The sound quality is great, bass is awesome and they've held up well for more than 2 years. I got them for 8k in May 2020. They do not have ANC but I really don't need it.

wireless, get jbl 760nc (dk too much abt wireless headphones). but for wired theres many options like AKG k371, hifiman 400se and like a bunch more, depends on what kinda sound you like

I have airpod pro 2 and didn't hear xm5 so I can't tell u which one is better but airpod pro 2 isn't value for money

Airpods 2 noise cancelling is significantly lesser than the Sony's pair, so at that price point Sony would be better as Sony is the ultimate sound reproduction machine with excellent quality as well. Noise cancelling on airpods pro 2 is really weak when compared to Sony. It is airpods max which comes close to noise cancellation of Sony.

Even i had the same confusion, but ultimately bought the XM5 which was worth it.

Really? But how? I see many KZfaq videos comparing audio recording/call through XM4 and XM5. XM5 clearly blocks more noise and result in better ANC compared to XM4. That's the reason I am looking to get XM5, which will be clearly helpful for calls/meeting in noisy environment. Am I saying anything wrong here?
