Hey guys . That glass rod you found is NOT a swizel stick ! It's a broken glass Bathroom Towel bar. That is the horizontal glass rod. There was a metal bracket at each end to encompass the large " mushroomed" end to secure it ! ! Dates to the 1940's - 1960's

Oh ok thanks brother, I have a giant pitcher that has a large stirring stick very similar to what will found from early 1900s glows a nice green in the blacklight. Very well could also be a towel bar good guess.

It's a towel rod the stirs were skinny at one end and fat at the other. And like the guy said they have a ball or spoon shape at the other end . The towel rods were uranium glass also.

That faceted ball thing that has metal threads on it, was a finial for the top of a lamp, above the shade.

Trav, awesome gathering with metal detecting and digging. Can the civil wars ward be restored? What an incredible piece of history to add to your collection. Loved the St. Paul Mn bottle as it is my MN state. Very nice finds. North Carolina sounds like a fun road trip adventure. 👏😀👍

Love the sword! Them Carolina fellows haven't looked in the right places. I live in southern Virginia near the NC line. There used to be plenty of old spots my Dad and I dug. That was over 50 years ago tho' lol😅😅

Thank you sister lady. The Pat D cokes are only worth about 5$ from my area. The ones we look for are the 1923-1915 hobble skirts they bring much higher values.
