I Found A Collection Of Classic Cars Including A Porsche 911 Golf GTI & Mustang Abandoned In A Barn!

Wile driving down a county road in the middle of nowear i noticed a very odd looking building.. i decided to turn back and take a look and my god im glad i did!… there was plenty of places to park so i did just that and took a closer look. Acces to the barn was fairly easy and at first glance i thought it was just full of junk… but hiding at the very back was one if the most incredible collection of classic cars ive ever discovered! The collection included a Wide body Porsche 911, Convertible Ford Mustang, BMW 1502, X2 VW Golf’s and many more! When i was leavibg the site i actually bumped into the owner who lived right next door to it. He was a fairly old chap, very friendly and told me he simply got too old to carry on & just lost interest in everything there. The site was being sold as well as everything left in there & would all be gone by Christmas. This was filmed both back in April & July 2022 when i returned and filmed a second video. I had to mix a few clips up due to some bad footage with my camera loosing focus which was annoying! I made a promise to him i would not upload aby video’s until everything was ckeared out. Ive been keeping this one quite for sooo long now its been driving me mad 🤪 Hope you enjoy this weeks vudeo guys 🙂

Possibly your best find! Nice to see the vandalism seemed to be minimal even though lots of people have been there, I’m sure lots of the missing Porsche parts where stolen but nice to see everything wasn’t smashed up

@@saintsmccastle3521 he was actually very sensible posting this, he explained that he met the owner when he was there and was planning on getting rid of it all, he waited until the property was cleared to post this vid so that it’s irrelevant if people know what was in there because it’s all gone now

The white car between the Porsche and the BMW was an Opel Kadett A and the white car behind is a Ford Consul, another amazing find!

I'm in the us. I just went to the sema show in Vegas where they're holding the f1 races for the first time. I've seen a lot of very old, vintage and reborn cars in my time. Not only is it sad and neglectful to see the cars you find in this state abandoned but it really REALLY PISSES ME OFF! People should really follow up with project cars and if you know you're too old or sick to do anything with them, LET SOMEONE KNOW SO THAT THEY CAN DO SOMETHING WITH THEM DAMN IT!!!!!

Well Colin that is the find of the year!!! What a collection of cars and several of them are quite savable.Plus all the spare parts lying around the place the money in that shed is off the scale. It really makes you think what has happened to the owner? It's unbelievable what you've found again, you get high blood pressure! The first car is a Citoen 11 CV (Ganster Citroen). The 911 Porsche looks like a conversion to RSR. It had the mega expensive 6 carburettor system from Weber on it (2x3 carburetors. Plus the two exhaust pipes in the middle at the back. It's a shame about all the cars. A great video (as always!). There's many tips that reveal this abandon place is in France, nearby "special" place, I think.... I've hear a familiar thing, which told me : "Oh ! It's a Xxxxxxxx, certainly nearby Xxx Xxxx XXX or XXX"

That Mustang is a 67 which to me is one of my favourite year of the mustang. And that first car is a Citroen trevant possibly from the 50s and the Porsche 911 from late 70s. But very desirable vehicles in there that need to be saved as there are restorable.

Just so intrigued to know the story about how something like this ends up left abandoned! Serious monies worth there. What happened to the Porsche radiator fan Colin? Notice at the beginning it’s there but later in the vid when you’re at the back of the car it’s gone?

I actually filmed this place twice.. first time was back in February and again in August .. reason is the first footage kept jumping out of focus & i had to film some bits again. I also had to mix both videos together because I never film and pans or beedrols. Unfortunately people had been in there and drawn on some of the cars & some bits were removed but I believe by the owner did that because he said they were all being cleared out and some of it was sold. I still have the original video link if anyone wants to see it? I’m also going back here again soon to film another video with the owner & some more of his collection 🙂

The blue on the mini was an original BL colour. I had a mini clubmen in 1988 that colour.

The truck also had some rally 'stickers' on it when u switched from the kawa to the door of the truck, i spotted a porsche with BASTOS (sigarettes) stickers, super club, and I think a Marlboro sticker. This screams rally enthousiast which explains the widebody porsche. I am fairly determined this is somewhere in Belgium, seeing the hella boxes and dupont boxes on the shelves

Nothing on that car was really worth saving unfortunately, I bumped into the owner of that place who lived right next door to it when I was leaving. He told me he removed everything he wanted and left all the headaches behind 😂 really nice chap, apparently everything in there is being cleared out before Christmas as the site and all the contents have now been sold.

Thanks for the nice video and interesting cars. Car Nr1 is probably a citroen cv 11 Normale. Bmw 1602 or 2002, is a normal carburettor version, we can see that by the air intake in the front panel, not ti/tii or Turbo. Golf 1 is not GTI, they are without fender flares and only speedometer in the instrument cluster, the are not very early ones (missing "swallowtail") probably 76/77 mod with 1.1 or 1.3 ccm engine.

See it's 6 hours since first comments but I'm here to say yes grey query car is indeed a Citroen Traction Avant / Light 15 those of a certain age know it as the Maigret car. The mini colour is either astral or denim blue. The 'stuff' on the floor is spill dry for mopping up oil.

back in the days many porsche 911 were at the trash, second hands around year 2000 were like 15.000 francs which is about 2500 euros, the MK1 Golf GTi were like 300 euros....

It's impossible to say how many years the shop owner has not been here - - judging by the trees and vines, it's been 10 or 20 or more years. I'll guess a family emergency came up, or shop owner went on a trip, and unfortunately never came back. Citroen Avant Mustang conv is an original 200 or 250 straight 6 car: note the 4 lug rims: only 6 cyl cars had these small rims, tires, & brakes. This "might not be desirable" for a resto since it's a 6 cyl, BUT a 6 cyl conv is actually verrry rare! Porsche 911. 2 separate 911 shells? OR just 1? Guess the wide body kit was added, per the RR paint peel - that can't be factory. If that engine was fuel injected, maybe it was removed to put Solex or Weber carbs on it. 2 VW Golf 1st gen - 1 is GTI? 1960s Opel Kadett. (I had a 1971 Opel Manta coupe - competed in autocross 1978, and a 73 Opel Manta Rallye coupe.) BMW 2002 red has rust in the front of the front fenders & fender wells - probably dismantled for parts. Even the oldest cars seem to have not much miles! 60000 km is only 37282 miles! Most every car has parts missing - maybe it was a repair shop back in the day when these cars were not so valuable: the shop owner got these cars and used them for parts to install on customer cars - I bet if you search for the parts that are missing on each car, most/all of the parts won't be there; each car is missing several parts - a combination of oddball & small items as well as entire drivetrains! And if they were doing project car(s), the shop has to have open work areas, uncluttered work benches, and so on. The way many cars are all bunched together - it appears parts were removed, & the car was shoved to the side with other cars ... MAYBE 🤔🧐 1 or 2 were actual project cars that were never finished - but they wouldn't be grouped tightly with the parts cars! They'd be in the shop open work area. And the shop owner simply did not get rid of the leftovers. Maybe no one nearby to tow them away, or he became too sentimental - and could not or would not get rid of them. Maybe checking the property owner history with the city, locate the descendants - a history could be made. After my parents went to Heaven, and I was forced to sell the home - I had 4 cars to sell. I wanted to keep 2 as rebuildable projects to drive & sell in the future, but after moving out - I have no garage: moved to an apartment complex, to help care for my brother 27 miles away, before he was hospitalized. All 4 cars sold (cheap!), a lot of parts & some larger tools sold or kept; stuff in our home - donated or given away or in storage. Memories from 1978 to 2022 are kept close, including a lot of pics.
