This is our review of a very rare set from 2022, the cancelled Overwatch 2 Titan set (26980). It took a while to get our hands on this one, but happy to have it! It's a great looking display set based on the Null Sector Titan mech from the cancelled PVE game mode from Overwatch 2.
LEGO has put their partnership with Activision Blizzard on hold so this set will probably never see an official store shelf, so join us as we take a look at the set and the two awesome included minifigures, Tracer and Mei.

1:29 hii quick correction, the Titan did make it to the Ironclad Mission they released in season 6 in Overwatch 2. Most people don't even know there WERE any story missions added plus they were behind a paywall so I definitely don't blame you for not knowing this Great video btw!💚

Would've been a competitor for one of Lego's best "mechs" in my opinion, alongside Zane's Titan Mech. Such a shame. Great little review though!

Really disappointed that I will never get this one, was really excited about to when had first heard about it before it was cancelled. Doesn’t really hurt as much now after they ruined the game though. Great reminder of what Overwatch 2 could have been.

The round tile on Tracer's back looks to be her Pulse Bomb (which is her Ultimate).

You can find a scanned version of it online somewhere (in a reddit post I believe). The parts used are relatively straight forward except maybe the grey pieces used for the knees

I have the mei from this! She was the only thing i cared about from the set, so i bought her off ebay. For some reason i seem to remember brickipedia listing more sets before it got cancelled and I was really hoping more heroes would be made.

The Mei fig is great. The full line of OW figs were fantastic with the only downside being some of the worst white printing I have ever seen (The mercy’s face…wow)

I would LOVE for them to start making more lego overwatch sets but I mostly just want a rerelease of the lego bastion skin because yes. Good video though

I'd love to see what Mishima Productions could do with this set, the guy takes stock Lego mech sets and beefs them up while giving them articulation.

tbh i think if they added 15 extra pounds to it but covered up some areas with smoother pieces or did the back better i would buy it for sure but even without i probs would

I think I found someone who took a pic of every page on reddit, but that’s all I saw, no pdf sadly. Scanning the QR code takes you to a dead end

Im not too sure, there were two interesting grey wedge plates used for the knees, but they have been in a total of 13 sets (part no. 6217790)

Yes, a few. The one I can remember is the robot arms in the chest, they don't exist in purple.

I used to love Overwatch and was so excited for the squeal. I ended up getting a hold of this set for a crazy price. After Overwatch 2 dropped I played it for a few months but finally got fed up with it and all the issues the game had. I still have the set in its box but I don't have the connection I used to for it. My wife said I should still keep it since it is an extremely rare set with a complicated history as you mentioned. Great video!

Thank you! Yeah I still love the game play, but it has so much many problems surrounding it. I can’t keep LEGO in the box for too long so had to build this one :) At least it allows more people to see it. Well done on getting your hands on one

Shame it was never seen in stores now i have to rely on ebay as it can be concerning but asides from the downsides i really love how the mech looks! shame in overwatch 2 the story missions are pay to play.

I built it using scanned instructions I found online and bought the minifigs separately. Thankfully it's a set that didn't have stickers so it was fairly straightforward (but I added stickers from Monkey Kid to give it more character). Mech has major stability issues at the ankles and I do agree that the back could have gotten more love from the designers. In hindsight, it's at that awkward phase of LEGO design wherein we have the old ratchet and ball joints from the previous years (old Ninjago and Marvel mechs)... yet we still have yet to get the better mech joints that we have now (current Ninjago, Monkey Kid, and Dreamzzz). It's still a great build nonetheless... and it fits very well next to the Tallneck set.
