Yo Bionic, here's an idea to get close to Herobrine, I think. Once you spot him, set your tick speed to minimum. If that doesn't work, maybe try teleporting to him. Just an idea.

The safest thing to do is block yourself in with blocks, not doors. A lot of things can break through doors. Not going to spoil it to much.😰

From the fog is a mod/data pack that allows Herobrine to spawn in your world. The worst he can do is crash your game and burn down your house (if you have those features enabled) otherwise, he is peaceful and just watches you while manipulating the world around you.
