Honestly if the game keeps having bad updates like this I might stop playing the game entirely. It’s sad to say because I was having a lot of fun using all the cards I unlocked in season one, but since season 2 removes all those cards you worked hard for, you have to rinse and repeat over and over again.

I'm enjoying Season 2 so far solely because of using different cards. I used the Santana Boost all last season and it's nice to feel like I'm able to use other cards and still be competitive.

On opening night I played this game until 5 am I posted on my story and said: this has the potential to be the best mlb the show of all time. The sad part is I wasn’t wrong. It did have the potential. But yet hear we are. No tech test this year may have been a mistake. It’s the stuff you don’t see during the honeymoon phase which went like this: Ooh high exit velos and 550 ft bombs! Not the “foul balls” or “super dives” or no programs ever other than season awards. I miss Topps now

Completely agree, I had almost a whole 99 squad and the new season hit and I’m back to square one again it seems, not to mention that for some reason im still getting season 1 packs that I can use

How in the hell do people have the 99s already. I'm 13K away from the second pack of Griffey, Larry and Roy cards. Even better question how does anyone have the 99 Frank Thomas card. You need over +200 Season 2 cards and there is only a little under 140 S2 cards available right now. There's literally a dude in my Mini Seasons with all damn 6 99 cards.

Season's is a big downer this year and not having a program for card set should not be a thing. Pretty sure I'll stop playing for the rest of the year when I go on vacation and lose interest.

Some of ya get so fixated on building the ultimate god squad and having the best cards that you forget to enjoy the game. Just focus on the cards you can get and build a team you like. You don’t need a team full of the best players in the game to have fun. The problem with MLB games in the past has always been that getting the best cards is so easy that we face the same teams over and over again and it gets repetitive. All online games in 2024 have in-game purchases and trustttt me, MLB The Show is not the worst (try playing 2K and see whats up).

No, you should complain it not sets and Season. It the problem is that all the content is packs so they should give us programs or ways to earn these packs. And a lot of the packs.

I like the power creep idea, but agreed.. let us use our S1 cards. What if we could only use our 89s and other cards released during the beginning of the season until they roll out the 93s in the ranked season?! I miss my 89 Stanton. 😢

This has been the worst experience I have ever had with DD! The only reason i bought it this year was because they lower the parallel 5 xp point total from 10,000 to 8,000 (I've wouldn't have bought it at all if it was still at 10,000!). I've have only gotten 1 card to parallel 5 in the 3 years since they introduce pxp and that was Larry Doby which i did last year even though he was a common card it took 6 months to get him to level 5 because I'm not a great player and I don't have time to sit here and play this all day! I have other games i want to play! DD is boring and it's too time consuming even for a guy who does have all the time in the world! and I'm done for good after this year!! Keep up the great work for these videos Fuzzy and go Guards!!
