I will admit, the thumbnail was quite a letdown, and I’m genuinely hoping they change it. It looks almost like a last minute addition. “Oh, shit! Guys, we forgot the thumbnail” In which case, I’m okay with this as a temporary thumbnail. That sword is bugging me. So. Damn. Much.

Can’t wait. If you would have told me last August that episode 7 wouldn’t come out until the end of March, my brain probably would have popped out the side of my head.

Weirdly enough, I like the thumbnail-except maybe the weirdly cheery look it kinda has with the blue hue, unless it's reflected in the episode in some way.

If it's 25 mins long then we are DEFINITELY getting a season 2 cause u can't just fit every lore into 2 episodes that are 20 mins long.

0:29 I don't see clipping there. It looks like the coat is still draped over his leg and he's just in a pretty intense pose (like Spiderman as I've seen people say). And the curve at the right surface of his armband overlapping his leg matches the three-dimensional form of the armband where the edges are thicker, as if rolled under, with the middle pulling in to be concave. Still, there have been some clipping moments in the show itself. As for the sword, that could reasonably be a 2D addition to the thumbnail image as a simple alternative to making the model piece look good in the still image. I've seen that object perspectives in 3D animation can be tricky, and rotating a seemingly simple shot can show you some unexpected proportions or cursed modifications. An example of this is in Kevin Temmer's behind-the-scenes video for episode 5 of Murder Drones, where J is stretched out for the shot of her dashing into a fight with a sword. Even among the strange appearance, there are small details present that AI would probably overlook: -N's left hand has a yellow-glowing triangle subtly visible. -The glowing icon on his chest is just barely peeking out from behind his coat as we've seen it before. -His hairstyle is correct. -The lights on his head are slightly illuminating the underside of his hat brim, and there are also small bits of light between them that can be seen at certain angles within the show. I just checked in episode 3 to confirm and found the small bits of light there during N and V's first conversation in the episode. -His armband information is in the correct format, and while it may not be clear enough to read perfectly, we can see there are small text and lines and tell that those details are fully formed but just too far away to see from our image perspective. Also, I doubt Glitch would resort to AI generation for a thumbnail after all the work they've been putting into the show.

I did kinda notice the thumbnail looked a little weird. Like the shading on N’s face, looked a little off. Right back at cha with the “ thank you for sticking around “ thing. The waters have been rough, but we need it together. And to be honest it wasn’t even that bad with you guys.

tbh idc bout the thumbnail it’s fine. all i care about is that serial designation s makes an appearance in this episode because god damnit my head canon would be disassembled if that’s the case.

Not as long as I expected… I’m ready for it. Here I come. I’ve waited since October or November and it’s finally here. And on my side the polls have also kept ME going. Keeping my obsession with this amazing series alive. I almost lost my obsession to Hazbin Hotel (I’m still a part of the fandom but nowhere near as obsessed as I am for MD) for this but the polls have always been there keeping it alive. Now my waiting has payed off.

25 minutes of real content in all this time, I just can't wait! Personally, I really like the thumbnail, it looks very atmospheric. Also, apparently, we'll see a scene of Uzi and N fighting, which cannot but evoke disturbing thoughts and excitement, or what is definitely likely is that N will have to face the fact that he'll have to make his choice much earlier. All that awaits us is a lot of tension, drama and also the lore. It will be very interesting and also very sad. Despite all the tension of this event, I still want to wish you a pleasant viewing of this incredible episode that we have all been waiting for. This episode is really a valuable gift for all these 7 months.

Glitch is known for hiring 2D Artists, if you look very closely at the episode 4 thumbnail. You can tell Uzi is drawn on there, or traced. Idk. I think they just did that. But this thumbnail did feel like a big “Oh shit, we forgot the thumbnail” and they did that. Big let down ngl.

1:22 Mostly downs, example you may ask well the whole NxUzi thing is just one. But all that aside this is probably gonna be answering a lot of questions that have been left through out the series, and as long as it’s better than ep 5 I’m fine with that

I’m more than willing to believe that the thumbnail is a placeholder, however the episode being this long is exciting as heck! We’re definitely going to have an action packed ride alongside many answers to the series and I can’t wait!

Honestly the thumbnail looks like a thumbnail for Meta Runners rather then a thumbnail for Murder Drones (I haven't seen Meta Runners, but it just looks more fitting for Meta Runners)

I mean I thought the picture for it looks fine, they might’ve wanted to try something different. Also I don’t think his legs clipping through the coat the bottom part of his coat is just the back/side of the coat ig (idk what to call it) but anyways the pose seems completely fine to me

If the episode is 25 minutes, it just means more excitement, entertainment and more hype. That's what I was hoping in the first place, at least a 15 min episode but 25 minutes is just a dream come true. Patience is a virtue after all.

I not mind if the episode not long, it's still a very amazing episode nonetheless. I feel episode 8 will be long, all season finale episodes after all are long and do end with a bang. You got to give the team credit of how patience and hard work pays off.

The thumbnail isn’t ai generated. Somebody new has just been working on the thumbnails since the recent TADC teaser video. He could possibly be @ZAMinationM whose thumbnail editing looks similar to the episode 7 thumbnail.
