Depending on what movie or comic you choose to base it off of, Joker himself might not have even shot his parents. Joker is just a crazy guy in DC shows and movies they never explain why hes crazy but DARTH VADER has the best story and he is a bad ass joker is just crazy and goofy. Joker is so scary when you realise that his character could 100% be true. There could very well be a real Joker on this planet. Just adds the extra amount of fear and terror when you remember there's nothing really special about him however against most of the villains in DC, their moves are nothing compared to what the Joker, a human being, can do.
