Noah, have your Mom get you a small fish tank. Used pretty sand to make a design on the bottom. Then add your potting soil. Place small plants you like. I’ve made ones with succulents. If your room is dusty, just cover the top with a plate.

I have found that the easiest way to remove candle wax is to put item in freezer for a couple hours, wax should pop right out.

The thimble rack would be interesting as a display for small crystals and stones

The pretty knife you found is an ulu knife. They originated in Alaska. Inuit women used them, I believe, to clean skins and hides. They are sold as souvenir pieces. Can be used for cutting and chopping.
