Күн бұрынIn todays episode I travel from Gisting, Lampung to the world famous surf area, Krui in Lampung. On my way I pass through Kota AGUNG and the monkey filled national park, Bukit Barisan Selamat. The journey is long, but one of the most beautiful roads in Indonesia. In the afternoon my road trip takes me to BeOcean Krui and here I truly find paradise in Lampung.
I will show you the BeOcean rooms, food menu, property and I have a chat with the owner about the amazing lifestyle they have created for themselves here in Indonesia.
Lastly I go on a jungle hike to Paradise falls, a hidden gem here in Krui.

Very interesting.... I like the way you go around and interact with Indonesians. I did this from 78...89.... then could start beiing a tourguide on traditional scooner sailing through Indonesia... Now much older..and so lucky to be able to live in Bali. Would love to follow your ride..but might be to old. There are others who did all this many years ago as well...and who aldo live here. Back then no internet yet. I will see if I can introduce others to your tour.

Being a Sumatran, I couldnt agree more with Alicia and Max. There's still a lot of Forests, Waterfalls, Rivers, and clean Beaches. Indeed the roads are difficult to pass, but it pays off when u arrive at the destination

I’m VERY happy to hear that! My dream for Indonesia is, that it can stay like this, truly Indonesian with all the wonderful culture intact, without being too much westernized. But at the same time, prospering and with better living conditions for many of the locals who live here 🇮🇩🙏🏼 time will tell 😊

Krui is my grandfather's hometown... Yeah Krui is very good place for surfing besides Bali and Mentawai in Indonesia. The typical fish here are blue marlin, octopus, and if we are lucky we will meet dolphins. Banana Island is an island that has been visited by many sailors since ancient times. Lots of crossbreeds here. But now many are left by its inhabitants who are now migrating to the city.

so jealous with you, make me homesick.. before i moved to US 2010, my family house only 500 meters away from the ocean in Manado city. Here in US, i only see ocean once a year for a week on my summer holiday. Those monkeys are called "beruk". One of the most agressive monkeys in the wild. You did a good decision not to come closer. But some people in sumatera train them as coconut tree climbers to pick coconuts. Stay safe and enjoy the trips.

The jungle trek was amazing. Jungle brings us as human more connected and closer to the nature. I love jungle so much. Since pandemic I havent taken myself back to the jungle yet. Thank you for this jungle trek, it has successfuly filled my "empty jar". Stay safe always !

What an adventure. Most everyone can ride and create a youtube content but what you accomplished is more and beyond. Mix of riding, social interaction with indonesian style hospitality, beach and mountain scenery, offers a unique and enjoyable content to watch. Maybe you add it up a little bit offroad challenge to make it a complete package of adventure 👍

Great place to visit. I was living in lampung and defo krui was the best place to chill and relax. The vibes the atmosphere just awesome. I recommend to you to go fishing blue marlin, or go to the diving spot and catch some lobster with the local it's delicious and awesome
