Mushrooms did wonders in my life. I suffered severe trauma several years ago after divorce with my husband. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Spent my whole life fighting cptsd. Congrats on your recovery. Mushrooms are very medicinal. This is why anybody familiar with psilocybin and any other kind of fungi will tell you, "They are alive." They have a very ancient wisdom. To my experience, all mushrooms have always said, "Pay attention to your life. How you think, how you feel, and what will you do with the information that you always knew, but now are seeing in this point of view." This is why mushrooms are so respected in tribal cultures. This mental health treatment works for me too. Half micro doses do the trick for me. At least a few days at a time with lengthy time in between. Never addictive. Thank you for sharing this point!

These doesn't sound weird to me in any way shape or form. From my experience it really works excellently! It doesnt even need to be a full hit. With potent shrooms 2-3 small ones will still make a clear difference. It will be a few hour cosy rumbling moment around rest time, but afterwards its just calm and you feel amazing and gain your freedom. Psilocybin is different dudes, its the only "treatment" I would recommend to someone who genuinely wants to get better. There is no addiction, withdrawal, or negative side effects. It's just pure healing., far more effective than any anti-depressant and any other thing. I went on a microdose treatment for a couple of months and within the first week, every sight of a cigarette got me questioning why I was doing all that to myself. It really works. you can thank me later.

The mushroom in the video is called chicken of the woods, and it has only one deadly lookalike called jack o lantern. The difference between the two is that jack o lanterns have gills underneath in a yellowish color, while chicken of the woods have pores and, usually, a white underside. Chicken of the woods grows on fallen logs and stumps of trees. Try to only take from the stumps of deciduous trees, as coniferous trees can cause the mushrooms to be toxic. And yes, chicken of the woods has a texture and taste similar to actual chicken, or sometimes lobster or crab. Remember to forage safely and only take something if you know 100% what it is!

how to identify this mushroom: 1, if it has lines or “gills” underneath then it is no good 2, is it orange and yellowish? then it’s probably it 3, is it hard or soft? if it is hard, throw it away! 4, is it growing at the stump of a moist tree? then it’s good 5, use google lens just to be sure 6, it’s scary to promote mushroom hunting so don’t do this without a proper guide (cook the mushroom don’t eat it raw or 20 minutes in the toilet, some people are allergic to this because not everyone eats funguses every day so you might still end up in the toilet even after cooking)

these are called chicken of the woods! like hen of the woods, they’re known for their remarkable resemblance in both taste and texture to chicken. they’re a great mushroom to change mushroom haters into mushroom-curious people! they grow only on deciduous trees, so if you see any that look like them on evergreen trees, they are inedible, cause gastrointestinal distress, and/or have resinous flavors. make sure to check the tree species before gathering. they’re easily recognizable, with their striking orange and yellow color, and can weight up to 50 pounds. they do not have gills. they are both polypores and saprobes, meaning they consume dead wood on live or dead trees, whether standing or fallen. they have a white spore print, but by the time you see spores, the mushroom may be too old to eat. they are around mid-spring to late fall, and will likely return each year. chicken of the woods are mostly east of the rockies, but are common in California. remember, NEVER store mushrooms in plastic bags! any part of the mushroom that touches the plastic bag will begin to grow bacteria. if you want to preserve them, saute then freeze them. don’t defrost, just throw directly into a hot skillet. dehydrating them will just make them chewy! (yes, i typed all of this myself. my mushroom hyperfixation can come in handy sometimes :D)

@@iamsongforsomeone994 most sealed containers are not good for mushrooms, due to their high moisture levels and tendency to act like sponges. plastic wrap suffocates them, traps excess moisture, and contributes to spoilage. it’s best to keep them in paper bags, refrigerated.

⚠️Short disclaimer⚠️ Don't pick mushrooms unless you have expert level knowledge. Mushrooms that are safe to eat can look almost identical to ones that are not. That's why you always have to be extremely careful when picking mushrooms. Especially since even the experienced people often pick mushrooms that are not safe to eat. So be really careful ❤

Yes and no. Just do your research! If there's an edible mushroom with a poisonous lookalike in your area, stay away unless you really know what you're doing. But plenty of edible mushrooms look very unique, or their poisonous lookalikes are only found across an ocean. If you want to be extra cautious, eat only a tiny bit of a mushroom you've found (if it's in one of the latter categories, don't do it if you think it might be poisonous) and monitor how you feel for the next 24 hours.
