You are my favourite by an absolute mile. You don’t talk. It’s about the furniture not you. Your skill levels are at master craftsmen level. You don’t alter or amend, you restore using traditional techniques but with modern machinery. Well done. I love watching your films.

This is the difference between a furniture restorer and a furniture flipper. True restorer, a wood working artist. Thank you for saving this gorgeous piece from a flipper who would have painted the whole thing. Your restoration of this wardrobe was amazing, your skills are amazing. This piece is restored and it is stunning. ❤️

The finished wardrobe restore looks incredible 😍! Every time I watch one of these videos, I'm struck by how much work is involved, and how much knowledge you have to have in so many areas to fix everything! What a profession you have to be proud 👏 of, while perserving history one piece at a time!

A 100 year old piece of furniture in Estonia has survived the takeover of the country by the Soviet Union, then the brutality of WWII, both the Nazi invasion and the Soviet counter invasion, then decades of Soviet occupation, then independence. There was a lot to survive. These pieces survived when oftentimes people did not, so may be in some cases a link to such people. That Estonia is now a prosperous place means some people now have the money to commission such restorations.

It always amazes me how much alcohol cleans wood. I really love how you light shellac the wood before staining you are really nourishing the wood. Your a master of restoration and your skills are to die for. You always do such a bang up job on all your pieces. Such honourship in your work. PS love the bow ties, first time I have seen you use them! Also the wood knots how you made them strong with half deep cuts is amazing. The things one can learn off of you are priceless.

From my grandmother I've inherited a bedroom set made in a similar style as this wardrobe, and it is really interesting to watch you pick it apart and put it back together again. Makes one appreciate how many hours of work it has taken to make each and every single piece of it. This type of furniture has become unfashionable in my country, and is often thrown away. It warms my heart that you appreciate their beauty, and are willing to use your advanced craftsmanship to renovate them even when they look beyond repair.

Best yet. You can’t be beat when it comes to outcomes that are, genuine, beautiful, well researched, and masterfully done. Most people working in your “timeframe” - that is, vintage that is just reaching the antique stage - don’t seem to respect the items they are working on. They change, or cheat, or replace because it’s easier. You provide a master class in why they shouldn’t do it at all! 💕🇨🇦

I absolutely love when you agree to take on these old pieces of history! There are so many people out here grabbing up beautiful old wood furniture for the sole purpose of giving them a tacky paint job for resale. Breaks my heart.
