"Stranger Things" is undeniably one of Netflix's best shows, if not the best! While I was at Walmart, I spotted the Stranger Things ice cream inspired by Starcourt Mall's own ice cream parlor, Scoops Ahoy, where some of the characters worked in Season 4. Netflix sent a box with all seven flavors.
1. *The Void:* Black vanilla ice cream with a strawberry ribbon & vanilla crème cookie pieces.
The Void is fantastic! The black matches my vibe inside sometimes. I didn't expect it to be black, but it's definitely giving that Stranger Things vibe! 10/10
2. *Triple Decker Extravaganza:* Vanilla and butter ice cream with a maple ribbon, waffle, and chocolate peanut butter candy.
This one is amazing too! It's like having cookies and brownies inside ice cream. Just a minor issue with the peanut butter candy being too sprinkle-like. 9.5/10
3. *Mint Flare:* Mint ice cream with chocolate chunks and rainbow confetti.
Reminds me of a New York Peppermint Patty. It's good, not my favorite, but definitely enjoyable. 8/10
4. *Cinnamon Bun Bytes:* Cinnamon ice cream, a cinnamon cream cheese swirl, and cinnamon roll dough.
A bit overwhelming for cinnamon haters. The texture of the bytes might be too chewy for some, but I liked it. It’s not your normal cookie dough texture but Definitely reminiscent of cinnamon buns. 7.9/10
5. *Chocolate Pudding:* Chocolate ice cream with chocolate fudge swirls and vanilla waffles.
Not my favorite due to the intense chocolate flavor. It's like loaded chocolate ice cream, and the promised vanilla waffle was missing in taste. It just tastes like chocolate, and friends don’t lie Netflix.
6. *Pineapples Upside Down:* Pineapple ice cream with a salted caramel swirl and pound cake chunks.
Not my cup of tea due to the soggy cake texture. Soon as you make my cake healthy, I don't want it lol. It's subjective though, some might enjoy it. 5/10
7. *U.S.S Butterscotch:* Butterscotch ice cream, salted caramel, and salted caramel chocolate.
Had an odd powdery taste at the end, didn't quite work for me. 4/10
