From what I saw of this match, Y is more balanced than X. Cris was able to do so much because his team actually fought WITH him instead of abandoning him. Without his team around, I'm pretty certain Y would get squished very quickly. & do remember... CrisHeroes is someone who can make even the worst Pokémon look broken.

Yeah surely only crisheroes can press auto attack button perfectly... The mons has no skill requirement, its ranged, and it can build mega gauge without hitting enemy, somethings that X dont have, both are bad no such thing as one is more balanced

@asch3736 Then you have not been paying attention. Y is very squishy. Had Cris tried to do these fights alone, he'd been KOed very quickly. Without a good team to help it, Y won't last long at all & how easy it is to use won't matter. X on the other hand, is not nearly as squishy & is more of a threat as a result. Further adding to X advantages over Y is the fact that it's Future Sight pulling rather than pushing, making it a lot harder to escape. So yes, Y IS more balanced than X.

@@StoneyHalf-DragonHero9102 i said at least 3 reasons why one as bad as the other one,well if you asked for more then its obvious it squishier cause its attacker but it have 2 teleports ffs,its also have a push stun,its has better range for auto attack than most attackers,it just trade the bulk of X for more mobility and utility... Even X wont survive if its 1v5 what are you talking about?Both is bad dont create any reason for the devs to keep doing shit like this

Y is definitely squishy on it's own, but good during team fights. So it is balanced compared to X. I've found from matches that Dragapault is actually a really good counter for Y when it comes to one-on-one fights

In my personal opinion, even without Mega form M2 would be viable in both X and Y. Not as dominant, obviously, but also far from being at the bottom of the ladder. The mega just really takes the cake.

Due to a shocking lack of team cooperation , when I play mewtwo x I keep my distance and play ranged- had a few rounds where I only mega evolved two-three times ( objective fights) and I still end up doing the most damage and getting the most ko’s-so yes very viable and solid. When I have rounds with solid teammates I seem to be constantly in mega form it’s wildly disgusting how strong and unkillable he is-add a good support and it’s just insane

I enjoy playing recover+psystrike on X as it is "balanced play style" it allows you sometimes tanky sometimes mid ranged and sometimes melee attacker

Something to note about saying psystrikes cast range is short when you mega evolve you auto attack range increases massively so it can feel even worse at times but it's something to keep in the back of your head

Y's auto damage looks like half of X's. But the aoe means it can do alot of total damage, especially if they are grouped up like they were in this game. The heals, shields and goal zone kept them alive alot longer than they should have been tho.

7 Red Embems+ And 2 Green+ Rapid Fire Scarf+ Muscle Band+ Spoon + Future Sight+ Recovery = 207k DMG. With that build you pretty run the whole time around in your Mega form. Try to top THAT Chris!

I think it's good that it's best build is psystrike while X's is future sight. At least we get some variety in how we get 100 to zeroed in-game.

It's funny to go back and read some of the Y comments. psystrike has, by far, the lowest win rate for this mon. Future sight/recover/x attack is the best build and it isn't even close

No!!!! I hate this meta completely!!! I already had to deal with that monster of a tank all-rounder M2X and now this monstrosity again?!?! Man, my life sucks right now. I know Zacian is bad and all but having two OP mons is literally not healthy at all. Both of them needs a nerf tbh because the nerfs that they received are not gonna cut it and before you are gonna say only one Mewtwo per team, then yeah that's good and all but that still makes it so that Mewtwo is still required or we lost.

@@CaptainAwesome16 Well, I am frustrated tbh but I am trying to get used to this. I have never complained that much about a mon much less two that's as OP as these two. Even I never complained way too much about Zacian because it's just one mon and he was powerful and I have complained about it but this makes it even more boring and unfun. That itself says a lot about how terrible both the Mewtwos are for the meta. Both of them are not balanced. I have never been this frustrated before. That's where my complaints became longer rants. This time I can't even play Lapras anymore against Y because of that nightmare I had when I first played against it where you could find the comment I wrote in one of Cris's or Spragels's videos about a story of how I was nearly destroyed on my own goal zone because of Mewtwo Y and Comfey if Eldie was not healing me. In fact, I had to use Inteleon solely because of these monstrosities. I really can't make it short when I am frustrated. I hope you understand.

I don't think Psistrike will be used in pro play... Somehow players did not yet realise that anorher teammate has to stand infront of them and the explosion will not happen. I don't know if the damage of the charge up is enough to make it worth it

Unite move being "better" is debatable. The rest of your team use physical attack, so X's physical armor shred would definitely be better damage after the hit, if your allies aren't potato.

I have actually uninstalled the game today and im not planining on coming back in the near future, if ever. Had a win rate of 65% with thousands of games that has not budged for many months of playing by more than 0.1 % and since Mewtwos release it has plumeted to 64.4% and i have even been plauing less than normal

One is physical (X) the other is range special (Y) so the main difference is their auto attack and their move set. They have differents stats too but the same unit, and they share some moves.

I just gotta wait a few days and then I can obliterate with Y. I love playing X so far but man I wanna try the ranger version. I played psystrike at first but it just dosent do as well for the mega gauge and that’s where X shines. But with Y that’s seeming to be the better option.

They only say x because it tanks, and the pull, and don't understand that this game is full of stuns lock and x will be killed in the big team figth, but y that is a range one would kill everyone from across the map without risking shit.

@@aitorchul2262 X runs full heal for a reason. Also X benefits from his own stunlocks. Y tends to win fights during mid-game but loses early fights hard and late game fights tend to lead to X winning since it has no peel after the defender dies.
