This tool makes it so satisfying to use Copic Markers! It's probably one of the most fun I've had while coloring in a long while! :D The only annoying part is the masking, but the gradient results are just so cool! As you may know by now, I'm addicted to gradients, so this tool is made for me :D

Copic sells an aircompressor for around $250 USD. I am sure you can hook it up to any compressor as long as you get the pressure adjusted correctly. Its the head assembly that you new which is around $150 USD.

I think its better as it isn't filling up the area as opaque as coloring them in would, therefore its more economical, in fact.

Jo W no, actually it dries the tip before all the ink can be used, ruining the markers completely. After airbrushing them you can’t even refill the ink because the tip will be absolute shit, you’ll just have to buy new markers and that’s really expensive.

Really? Maybe because I do watercolor and inking, and do mandalas I've gathered a lot of patience haha. I don't see this as too much work and I love the bright colors! This definitely could work with more pastel colors and this is something that works with his style! For me, I actually don't like copic marker art. I think to me it looks cheap, and I only use markers to sketch out character designs and concept art from time to time, but never for a finished product. So this in my opinion, is a beautiful break from that!

The blo pens were made using a dmt based formula, so if you're intelligent enough to inhale, you will have an out of body experience which will enhance your physical and mental capabilities. Trust me, I did that all the time..before the intervention..

I would think it would be quite slow considering you have to cut out the plastic or whatever and tape so as to not ruin the drawing. I personally think drawing normally with copics would be faster, use laess ink and overall better but not as cool and exciting

Might look cool to watch but this took hours upon hours bc of all the extra steps. Copics cost a lot of money unless you're rich. This is most likely the best way to deplete your markers quickly.

This is cool, but in my opinion it is so much easier to just color with them, instead of having to cut out all of the stencils, and wouldn't you be wasting more ink by using this method?

Contrary to popular belief this uses lesser ink. Because it's not spraying a waterfall of ink like a water jet, but rather light mists of ink on to the paper. So I'm sorry but I have to disagree.

I was wondering that. I also love that he mentions where to get the most obvious blue painters tape but not the airbrush or the clear masking film (the main items I tuned in for) also, those air cans are expensive and not worth it. Just buy a compressor ffs.

I love using this for backgrounds to get a nice clean effect! I have an airpressure machine though. They are fairly inexpensive and I grabbed one for about $30 on Amazon. Much better than those cans lol

LOL ME. My parents got me 3 for Christmas a couple years back, but I have black, grey, and a light green. I can’t do anything with only 3 ;-; I don’t have the right paper so trying to make it darker just rips, and using them with crayons is so weird

I received like 12 from my boyfriend for Christmas, and since then I found cheaper on AliExpress, and have like 70 of these. Look for finecolour, they also have brush, they don't blend that good, but cheap me loves it 🤣
