I know this game since I am a fan of their other game series and some channels I watch covered it before. It crawled so Gaslands could walk.

Thanks for the comment. I've been adjacent to Gaslands for a while and I just recently learned about Car Wars and even more recently about Dark Future. I had to get my hands on a copy to see what I could do with it.

Dark Future was a great game. It should get a updated release. Or at least the cars and figure line should be made again.

Considering we have a Mad Max Movie coming and GW seeming to be on a revival spree I would not supprised to see it happen

Not sure how it played but it definately had a cool background and stories behind it and the models were lovely.

It's very good. If you want a way to play it nowadays, there's a modern PC game version which is very fun.

Not really forgotten, a PC version was released on Steam 3 or 4 years ago, not bad but a bit slow. I never played the tabletop game, but I had a pile of the miniatures, mostly biker and punk looking guys which we used with some adapted Wild West gunfight rules I think.

😎👍 Compared to the other games of this genre, Dark Future had magnificent components but awful gameplay. I still use weapons from DF to customize my Car Wars and Gaslands cars.

Good to know. I'm gonna try playing all three this year and see which one I like best. I do appreciate all the extra bits they threw in to customize the cars. I'll take your gameplay warning under advisement as I learn.
