~~~~~~Server Information~~~~~
To join my Minecraft server, head to my Twitch channel and type !server for the login information. You must be subscribed on Twitch to join, and have a Discord account. This is so we can moderate and manage the server due to demand. The server is open 24/7 and has a survival world, as well as a museum of every past build we've done on the channel.
New Earth Build Rules:
-No obnoxious floating text. No obnoxiously tall buildings.
-Respect the coastline and borders. Islands, continents and countries should retain their shape.
-Build the best you can. Low effort and unfinished constructions will be removed.
-Your building cannot just be a flag.
-No contemporary politics.
-No depictions of war, recent mass tragedy, racism or discrimination or hate symbols of any kind.
-Railways must be at ground level. Railways in the air are considered low effort and too tall. We recommend an underground metro instead.
-No pixel art. We find that this obscures other builds, and we plan to provide a space later.

1000 years from now, when this world file is the only surviving document of human history, what will the archeologists think? There are so many informative documents and history, but at what cost?

@@stuin01 Without context, no-one would be able to determine the meaning of the words. Thus, I propose an addition to your scenario: several books, physical or digital, survive and happen to concern language(s) in a useful way. Even with English as the current dominant trade-language of our planet, there's a good chance of these books not being in English, which means that surviving memes that crossed language barriers could then be used like the Rosetta Stone to crack the code of written English. I recommend that meme that goes something like: "In [foreign country], they don't say [nice thing, usually "I love you" or similar]. Instead, they say [relevant language's phrase for something very different, e.g. a Russian version I've seen says something about 'eating the flesh of capitalists']. And I think that's beautiful."

its my favorite part of these builds, honestly. Whether they're sharing a bit of their own culture they are proud of or something they just thought was cool, we don't know. But it can be really fun to learn new things.

Fun fact: despite camels being stereotypical desert animals, Bactrian camels (the ones with two humps like those at the end of the video) are actually just as at home in freezing cold plains as they are in sandy deserts. They are even one of the few animals that can eat snow for water with little consequence and in their colder habitats snow makes up a majority of the water they take in. They are pretty hardcore honestly. If a place is inhospitable, they would probably love it

Another fun fact: While a stereotypical desert is sandy and hot, that's not always the case! A desert is an area that receives very little participation and is very dry/arid. So places like Antarctica do have deserts! The 2 largest deserts on Earth are the *Antarctic Polar Desert* at 5.5 mil square miles/14 mil km², and the *Arctic Polar Desert* at 5.4 mil square miles/13.7 mil km². These places reach about 50° F/10° C in their warmest months and receive less than 250 ml of precipitation per year. Guess you could call that some... dry ice.

The eating snow thing is true for many ungulates ( hooved animals )! The reason why is because they have a powerful digestive tract, act of processing food generates a lot of heat and thus energy which means the snow melts before it has a chance to cause internal trouble. This is also why rather than throwing a blanket over your horse, it's better to just feed him if he looks cold, as the blanket doesn't help all that much and may cause a reverse issue ( overheat ), unless of course you're in PROPER extreme temperatures. Human digestive system is not as advanced as that, and you tend to burn off more energy trying to keep your body from cooling than you gain by eating the snow. If you're in a severe situation, try to find a way to melt the snow before digesting it!

@@johannesmattsson9900 Actually, you can go check the online map. They've built a really intricate mini version of the Haram Mosque in Mecca. They even made a calligraphy for the Shahada, like it is impressive.

I remember spending two hours in this build making a lavish aquarium, only to find out at the very end that spawning fish was against server rules, meaning I had basically built a giant water tank. Good times!

I don't know if chat told you or not, but eggnog is generally eggs, milk, and a mix of spices, usually nutmeg an cinnamon. It is often spiked with rum.

If you let it sit without stirring and drink the bottom you can see God! Source: Nutmeg is a hallucinogen, and not a fun one either. Nearly everyone that takes it recreationally has a bad trip or health problems since the therapeutic dose is low. Always stir your eggnog, folks, or else the last person to drink it will have a bad time.

My favorite part of these builds will always be the people to take the time to find some real life location from that country/continent, recreate it, and leave a ledger telling people about the history of that place. There's something oddly sweet about it. Especially if it's not some massive, noteworthy landmark/tourist spot.

Route 216 is looking much different to how I originally remember it. Did Pokemon BDSP get another update? But really, I really enjoyed building the Split-Decision Ruins for this build as I thought the cold climate in the Crown Tundra in Sword and Shield’s DLC would be the perfect spot for it! Also, *don’t go round the back of it.*

My grandfather was a mechanical engineer in the New Zealand Navy and was sent on three separate missions to Antarctica to work on the research equipment at the basses down there in the 70's. He received a medal for his services and we still have the commemorative beer glasses that get pulled out at Christmas.

Thank you RT and whoever built the Hanukkah House. I watch a lot of different KZfaq channels but this year this was the only mention of Hanukkah I saw. Btw if anyone is curious about the two spellings, Hebrew has two letters that typically get translated as H and H/Ch in English. The H/Ch one is commonly pronounced like Ch would be in Welsh. Apparently it's called a voiceless uvular fricative. Basically because it doesn't exactly exist in English and the real pronunciation varies regionally, there isn't a single agreed upon way to write it.

Oh hey, adding on to the bit about Hanukah, there's the Menorah from the story, and there's the Hannukia. The Menorah has 7 branches - a middle one and 3 on each side - while the Hannukia has 9 branches, with the middle one usually raised. On each of the eight days of Hanukah, another candle is lit on the Hannukia. This was mostly to point out that a Hannukia and the Menorah aren't the same - one is from the story, and the other is used throughout the holiday.

I can confirm about snow blindness. I haven’t been to Antarctica(obviously), but where I live, we get a lot of snow, and one time, it got really bright, and it sure hurt like hell. My eyes felt like they were essentially melting, and i had to grab sunglasses if I wanted to stop crying. It really sucks

Eggnog is essentially a very thin custard-like drink made with eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon. It’s definitely rich like custard but it’s like you diluted custard with a lot of milk. It’s thin enough to easily pour with a ladle. It’s sometimes spiked with rum and is almost exclusively drinken around Christmas time.

6:50 Traditionally, egg nogg was alchoholic, but it doesn't have to be. It's a delicious christmas milk-like drink, very rich and has cinnamon and other flavors and things, it's like a pumpkin spice milkshake but for christmas not halloween. It is absolutely DELICIOUS! It's rich, creamy, and has a twist of cinnamon/brown sugar, you should DEFINITELY get some. any store AE dairy is sold at should have one.

Funnily enough, not where I live! The average Australian Winter is fucking freezing, misty, rainy and often accompanied with sleet and hailstones but not exactly snow. There’s a town about an hour away that always gets snow, though

It makes me so happy to see even a small reference to the Villa De Estrellas. I read about it once and have always wanted to visit, I didn't know there was a second Civilian settlement. And with RT's Pronounciations, I can't wait for Mexico, South America, and The Caribbean 😂

It actually pretty cool if you can create a manera or candlesticks just by combining a copper ingots with a candle in the case of a normal copper stick it could probably be one copper ingot combined with one candle and for the manera it could be three ingots across ingot below three candles above

Im very excited for the time where I will be able to see New South America, but most importantly, New Brazil and New Argentina. If no one puts a sign in Argentina that reads "Boludoland" or "Boludolândia" I will be dissapointed.

This made me curius about who owns the biggest part of Antarctica. So I looked up who owns what parts, looked at how big each territory, how big the total landmass of claimed territory was. Then I calculated the persentage of how much each territory takesof the claimed Antarctica, and estemated it up and down to get whole numbers. Here is the list from least to most: France: 3% New Zealand: 3% Chile: 9% Argentina: 11% United Kingdom: 12% Norway: 19% Australia: 42% and if you are interested ot of the entirety of Antarctica each of them are: France: again about 3% New Zealand: also 3% Chile: Still 9% Argentina: first differance 10% United Kingdom: Again 12% Norway: 19% still Australia: Finaly 42% Oh an also: Unclaimed Land: 2% I was actualy pretty surprised that Australia has claimed such a big part of Antarctica, but aperantly they do

That snow blindness thing is really. I live in the UK and a few years ago it snowed and the sun was blinding me by reflecting off the snow. Had to walk the dogs with my eyes mostly closed
