I mean we go to school and learn all that we can to become lawyers and judges, all to be held back by laws that guides us in our job. So if the law is weak, then that weakness of the law affects citizens negatively and the quality of judgement pronounced by the judges. However if a health minister steals money meant to build a hospital, his crime is stealing and gets less punishment.....but in reality all the people who died because there was no hospital is not anyone's fault. What a weird world we live in.

This boy should have been shown mercy and given 2 years to reform him. What about all the thieves calling themselves politicians, stealing our nation’s resources and money, hiding them in their kitchens, bathrooms, and elsewhere to the point of even their house helps getting hold of them? Ghana is a joke. The judge is just a wicked should walking on earth as human. One of the fallen angels.

It is unreasonable for the judge to jail the student for 15 years ! We can't destroy his life he needs a second chance ! Some Ghanaian judges are not helping the country at all the reason lawlessness is on the rise ! Nobody knows what the boy is going through that made him steal so need a second chance

Does the judge have the right to use his own personal discretion ? If yes how come he didn’t apply to his discretion in terms of sentencing , what I have noticed is that the judges who preside over this case is racist based on my opinion and my observation , because the law is in the bosom of the Judge according to Ghana Constitution, so I think the judge is not fair and heartless, to the best of my knowledge.

we understand that he has committed crime but the sentence is unfair. We want the judge to reduce the sentence. Why are the judges sending all the youth to prison. There should be community work sentences.
