This video is a result of an unexpected, miraculous transformation in my life after a spiritual journey towards christianity. Started as a curiosity but ended up as a reality; I gave up my core identity at that time - that of a homosexual - only because I found something more fulfilling, and that's a life with Christ. This transformation displays God's Glory and the fact that He alone can do the impossible possible!

I was in the LGBTQ lifestyle for 30 years and lived a drug and party and sex life for 30 years, until God drastically dragged me out of it 3 years ago. After also being in New Age Spirituality for just as long, I had a horrible experience where I had to call on the name of Jesus and it worked. After that, I surrendered to Christ and my life changed 180 degrees. This was all at home alone. I had no church and didn't even know the Bible yet. I was Born Again and 30 years of drugs, (Cocaine 30 years and Crystal Meth the last 8 years) , alcohol and cigarettes gone in one day... That day I gave my life to Jesus. No cravings or interest or thoughts for any of that anymore, all gone in one day. And it wasn't me even trying to stop! God does miracles and gives grace if you truly surrender your whole life to Him. People don't know the Power of Christ and sustaining Power of the Holy Spirit! Jesus truly saves! God bless you Brother!

"I gave up (on acknowledging my) homosexuality." To err is human; to repress is (apparently) is Divine. I totally reject the LGBTQ party, though. Including the flag. Any sexuality that needs a flag is literally noting more than a social construct.

Hello! Thank you; and that’s a good question. I do plan to build a family and marry a woman. As for now I am celibate - living a pure life - the best thing I could ever do!

Sorry - my definition of "overcoming" homosexuality is no longer being sexually and romantically to men, but rather only to women, God or no God, religion or no religion. I mean, if you're happy embarking on a life of celibacy, more power to you, but I have yet to find any such testimonies on KZfaq from gay men in their 50s, 60s, or 70s who made such a choice in their youth, and have not only have remained faithful to their vow, but have been happy across the decades, without every suffering loneliness.

Totally agree! We need to consider that traumas can result in changing your sexuality. However, we cannot let our trauma define us. I speak out of personal experience, I lived my life according to these attractions, identifying myself as a gay, and this brought me to my lowest point in life, where I was contemplating suicide. Now, as a matter of fact, I don't have the same problem. That was not who I was!

Although you can decide how to behave, American Psychiatric Association has determined you can't change who you're attracted to. And trying to do so can lead to serious mental trauma. Please research this better and consider taking this down.

There are a lot of attractions out there, not all healthy. In the end, no reason to take this down what-so-ever since more people need to understand the harmful consequences of picking certain lifestyles.

@@holemate Absolutely not. Love for self is just as that, love for self - selfishness. True love is to wish to give, not to get. To not love God, as the Bible also states in 1st John, is to not love love, because God is love. Someone who does not love to love also does not know how to truly love someone else. As someone who was an atheist before, I get that this may be hard to grasp at first. However harmful consequences, as you say, may come through anything, yet the absence of God will always result in those harmful consequences. As it pertains to sexuality, we always have attractions, however it does not mean that those attractions define us or are something that is healthy to pursue.
