I love this because many people can’t afford expensive makeup that makes you look good but this is so cool!

I love how you do have the money now but you still shop at dollar stores and try to get as much as you can for your dollar. And someone who doesn’t have a hold on of money I enjoy watching your show because you inspire me to do things and make things and spend way less than going and purchasing it. For example we’re having a second kid and we have a boy we’re having a girl and there’s so many cute little shirts that I have from my son that I can pair with a skirt as opposed to a pair of jeans and they work for a girl. Keep being awesome we love you

let me tell you from personal experience Dollar tree is the main place to get everything you need no questions asked. There's so much to choose from and you can take anything that's super cheap and make it look high-end it all depends on how you style it

I used that mascara all the way through high school, its actually pretty good! This makeup was my only option in High School. The BB Cream is actually pretty good, that’s what I use to use, also the LA Colors Bronzer and Blush isn’t too bad.

I’m actually shocked she didn’t get any Elf, Maybelline, Hard Candy, Rimmel, Nyx, L’Oréal, Revlon, IMAN Beauty, or wet n wild. DT has been getting a lot of name brands in (like American Apparel for example) in like all areas of the store. Obviously makeup, I’ve seen Hanes and Fruit of Loom, AA, and even some Disney clothes in the clothing section, Ive seen bigger and larger quantities of Godiva, Ferraro Rocher and Kinder in the candy section, I’ve seen Disney mugs, Star Wars, ELF the movie and Rae Dunn mugs there, I’ve seen large bottles of Dove and Shea Moisture in there, I’ve never seen a $75 beach netted bag from NORDSTROM for $1!!! It was before the price range but I’ve seen and bought brand names at DT and people think I spend $50+ on their gifts but in reality I spent 15-18 bucks. Edit: As I’m doing my makeup and watching Amber I forgot to mention I’ve been getting alot of Flower Beauty which is Drew Barrymores makeup brand from DT. I just remembered as I was applying my 18 dollar foundation and 11 dollar concealer I found at DT for $2.30. It’s almost stealing but legal :)

You should go to Chinatown and do the same thing. The one in Chicago is amazing! Obviously the food is phenomenal but the shops are so much fun. There's anything from cheap makeup/beauty products all the way up to cool things like beautiful artwork or expensive/rare foods!

I LOVE that Amber still acted as usual when showing us the result. I expected her to make a face and I'm glad she didn't. With the cheap make up she still looks like herself, but older. I think this was interesting.
