Race Recap, So this weekend it was time for my 2nd Supermoto race. Came to the training the day before the race (Saturday) Felt really good and could cruise a good pace. Had some fun in the end of the day and recorded a lil' video with some of the racers (Video inc) Anyway on to Sunday and raceday, coming to the track and it's all wet (i didn't have any rain tires) Skipped first practise and just did the 2nd one. I was the only one on slicks Anyway had some good times for the conditions. On too qualifying everyone stilled rolled with rain tires and i went out with slicks and put down a 1.36.7? I think 2nd place had 1.39.1 so i guess slicks were the right choice. Heat 1: starting on pole position, the track had was dry now! Pulling out the holeshot and controlling the race from 1st place.
Heat 2: was pretty much the same story (my starts is on point) pulled away bigtime in the offroad section.
Heat 3: (Switched starting positions, 1-10 switch) So got a sick start went from 10th to 3rd in the second turn👌🏻 Passing 1 more to get up to 2nd. Had some fighting with the 1st guy but i figured out i was stronger in the offroad, waited 2 laps and passed him pulled away a bit and cruised into a solid 1st place for a 1-1-1 and 1st place overall in the OPEN class!
